Thanks, Jandre. Wasn't alot going on today. Temps broke. I did get acouple plants transplanted. I have 3 different seed of a Ultra Dog. These were gifted from Con. The UD#2 is abit taller than the #3. So I gave the #3 a place in it's finish pot. I'd haave to guess they are 25 gallon pots. But here's a before and after;

and one of the Number One autos that I topped. I really don't want that other super auto that is over 10'. Going to be to much for me. Now If I had it in the ground she'd be ok. But if she keeps going, I'll need a bigger house and yard. She is in a 20 gallon pot, and needs more. I am kind of ready to get rid of it. It was suppose to finish mid july. And she is now vegging again and no sign of flowering. But here's it's little sister,

That auto looks like a botched breeding work. The strain might really be half-auto with only 50% phenos showing desired automatic flowering and the rest showing whatever else is there. On the other hand UDs look stunning, man

I tend to agree about these super autos. There could be a right time to plant them to even get them to express auto flowering? I don't know but I think what they really are are the same as these 'fast' versions that are photo plants, yet they have some percent of ruderalis in them which might start flowering earlier than regular photo plants and may not even express auto flowering. This Number One I have, which is going on the chopping block. started to flower right on time, I thought I had it dialed in, then it showed a touch, maybey 1 leaved started to curl funny, and the flowers dissapeared. Here's what they say on the market about the Cahze I got,

Well, that tall mfer is dead... I didn't want the drama of something that tall, and even if I did have some pot of size befitting it's transplant,,, it woodn't been a nightmare. Least for me. Reminded he of hemp I seen back in Indiana tall and spindly. The branches could barely support their own weight, and the top, 10' plus tall was just starting to get bushy. Sorry, that's all ladder work and I'm not down for that right now. And not for the looks of that one, I'm still trying one,,topped, but I'm not holding my breath with it... BTW here's that fast one I have going.. Doesn't say it,, but I get the feeling it has autoflowering in it too.. maybe 33% or less

I have high hopes for that one... Oh and I cracked a C-99 fem seed I was gifted somewhere and I forgot the vendor. But hope she does better than the two,,, that started flowering outdoors.. Yes the slow started in flowering too.. I wish I'd have done abit more looking into so seeds a friend down cali ways BrightLights sent me. I found a perfect one for outdoors here.. And I been seeing peoples talk highly of the breeder. I forget the name so I'll dig up the pack and see if it's still workable or too late. That's a bummer about your beanstalk. It looked like it wanted to be one of those monstrosities Senor Jorge used to show us when he visited Spain, but I think those were alive for ten years or something. Your biggie probably needed a scaffold setup around it for you to get done what needed doing. A ladder would've been brutal on the knees with all the up, down and around. Sometimes ya just gotta go with the tough choice.

Regarding those strains with 'a bit' of auto in them, does this mean you can veg them like traditional photos, but their flower period is shorter do to some ancestral ruderalis traits? Or do these also choose when to start budding?

Not just these but others like Sweet Seeds, Royal Seeds I thing do to. They can be heaven sent here. I might have put mine out and them longer days pushed it over it's limit.
All plants from seed have a juvenile age, pre-puberty anyways. And they just grow regardless of the hours in the day. It takes some satvias up to 3 months of veg before they mature are even able to be forced into flowering. As a rule,, I was taught back before written words and paper, if the plant is symmetrical with 2 leafs coming out evenly, it's jail bait. But when they stager she's of age and should've by then showed sex in form of preflowers and is an adult which can put put in flowering. I think if I'd have waited and didn't plant so early she might have behaved?
But the birds are chirping outside,, and any minute 6 or 7 squirrels will set up camp on the camp,, waiting for peanuts or peanut butter on any old bread in sandwich form. They get a big piece and run off for awhile that way. You throw peanuts, they will never leave and just fight like hell over the food. We do have acouple I call sidewinders. I think they've taken a fall off a wire or tree and broke their necks or backs. They are the weakly of the bunch so we cater to them. Little do they know, I been thinking about a nice mess of fried squirrles alot lately.

OK I up potted the C-99XBB Fast into 15 gallon pots to keep the roots going without any curl. I aslo put a Tahoe Star in a 15 too. Upped my OG from a 1 to a 5 gallon finish pot for it.. I'm thinking.

Hey I got alittle work done last night. And I did get the NEW C-99 seed in a pot and have 100% faith she'll be along shortly. I can't rememeber the breeder,, cept wasn't a common one. M something,, I don't think marcos but then I'n not sure 100%

Couple fast pic's first that Tahoe Star, typical star look to her. I had to take the top outta her because I started alot of these plants outdoors under the early Oregon sun. Which in my yard means shade. And when plants are young, the first instinct they have, is to outgrow all surrounding plants and get control of the sun. Thats why seeds get 'leggy' unless they have brigh sun or lights. She reached,, and I had to slap her.

What up wood? You are killing it once again i see! I have been so tied to the crop this year i haven't even been able to start a 420 journal for this year. I was just up in your neck of the woods on sunday for my birthday, its crazy miss j has hers the next day! Anyways if i weres payin attention i'd have known &brought you guys a homegrown gift basket! i got some 4th generations that i've been puttin my all into that i want you to grow out &tell me what ya think. The minute i take my eye off your journal and all these beautiful plants appear.. its gonna be awesome to see all of them bud out towards the end of the season man! Glad you got rid of the beanstalk.. maybe next time one gets that big plant it in the ground and leave it for years... see what happens.. would they just die out at the end of the season or would a plant that big be able to sustain itself through winter. It would be as tall as a redwood in 10 years lol.

Without crafting a tin foil hat... let's review some facts.
In the 90's we discovered the feds tapping the main pacific connection in a back room at it's termination point. As a country we were very inexperienced with such things and most folks didn't understand or care.
In 2013 Mr Snowden showed us many things. He showed us how every 1 and 0 that crosses the border is recorded, copied, and shared with all other intelligence agencies freely and without legal requirements.
The NSA (primary collector) has built a data storage facility than NEEDS the Colorado River for it's cooling needs.

Those are 3 simple facts. There are MANY more pointers.... I just chose 3 easy ones.
When I add them up, I get to a place where no 1 or 0 transits any wire and is not copied.

Additionally, I would not be one bit surprised if there were some treaty or other agreement that stretched some of that joy across our northern border... considering the historic hand holding.

And, of course, I'd imagine some backups or other data might be hanging around the 420 office (if such thing exists). All of this is subject to an NSL that would come with the traditional gag order, so nobody from 420 could speak of the intrusion. I'd actually be a touch surprised if there were not a government issued gag order in place from some event in the past.

My entry level programming knowledge, and previous experiences with network "auditing" has shown that every connected machine has a finger print (MAC address) and its entry point (IP address) is logged, and any other related data such as logged time, probable geotags irregardless of what I choose in preferences etc etc etc. SO I am with you Tead, I KNOW they are tracking you, me and Dupree! Still I consider other factors too, such as the count of states including our political ground zero (DC) being fully legal, higher amount of states that are just medically legal/but still pursuing full legalization and the overall political atmosphere on both sides of the isle regarding pot in general, I've come to one simple truth that exists only in my mind, but it's this; They know exactly what I've been doing at all times long before I got into growing pot, and as long as our way of life doesn't infringe on our national security and our way of life, they're not going to risk exposing such a massive effort, money and time involved in their snooping programs to shut down the likes of Skybound and his evil plot to harvest a whole pound of high powered pot every month. And as long as I continue to hide in plain site and not intertwine my online self (Skybound the grower) with Mike Xxxxxxxxxx the guy that works his ass off for pennies and pays his taxes yada yada yada, they're going to continue to focus their multi billion dollar spy program on matters of much greater interest. I sure as shit am no expert on any of the subjects, but considering the alternative, I've also did a lot of time "away" and have also acquired the knowledge how to avoid going back, and so far, it has worked when being applied to everything I do.

You've arrived at a similar destination as I on the subject. Watch the attitudes of our leaders tho... when the whip exists, one never knows when or how it may be used. In my lifetime, I've witnessed huge swings both ways in attitudes and actions of our Federal government... almost whim-like. A wise Tead stays aware of the issues in play.
Others may arrive at a different destination... they should be aware of the path we all travel. My words were just an attempt to inform without sounding too tin foil hatty.
