I do have to say it was a Great Memorial Day here. We got the pool opened and everything is working... That's one big hole that screams money, We have a 2 1/2 inch valve that has to be rebuilt of replaced. No biggie. Unless you factor in all the plumbing involved. And the heater,,, it has a bad connection in the electronics. Sometimes you have to play Fonzi and give her a slap. And it's about time to replace the sand in the filter, her presure is alittle up. And still, all the chemicals we needed to get the water right, With all the other problems we have going on, things are needing alittle fix up around here that I can't do anymore. The old saying a roofers roof always leaks, well this painters house needs paint, and a roof. But least the pool is up and going, this year, I HOPE.
Well, the cuts I took of the Black DOG are acouple days in and happy with the dome. I never really use the dome with this aeroponics. Never had too anyways. And both an Easy Kush and a GG4 are peeking out into the sun. Well, the LED anyways. And I'm planing on downsizing again.... I have to get my supply of soil yet. I've been piece mealing it. Now I need bags to fill the finish pots up. Atleast 10 or 12 bags anyways for a start. I have my amendments for the year, blood/bone meal, EWC, bat crap, rock phosphate, azamite, k-mag. I use the Oganic Black Gold soil, inoculated with Extreme Gardening Miko's, and acouple drenches to incogulate with Actinovate. And that should do it for the year. I will 'juice' them 2-3 times in flower with GH Nova products unless something is lacking. I've hardly EVER had to add during a veg cycle to any plant. You can tell when she's hurngry, yellowing of her lower leafs is the only time I ever feed a veg plant. But when you up pot them, the extra root mass and soils seem to fix them right up. I have my larger girls in #7 pots now and they are going into #35. They need bigger to really be all they can be,, I'm just not all I usse to be. To much work. I still deal with 10-12 foot plans about every year. But reallity sets in and to rreally get a plant to do all it can, it has to have a root ball. The more roots, the better she can uptake her food with. Is a fine line there. You can get a great single cola plant outta a gallon pot easily with alittle feeding and alot of water. My problem here, other than a early wet season, is my yard. It really isn't setup for gardening pot. It's 3/4 concrete and warm water. Add hot sun, and root temps do climb. I have a small strip of dirt I drag the pots over, well most of the bigger ones anyways.
Well hope everyone had a good chunk of BBQ today. Keepem Green
