Hey NCW.....been following you since I joined here couple of yrs. ago. Keep following you because I see the excellent plants & buds you grow. I don't follow the contests or even go look at the pics. Plenty of grower talent I'm sure of that, but an aver. grower who's an expert photographer might also do well in these contests. Nothing wrong with contests nor any fault with those who enter & enjoy them, but like everything else comes with a lot of politics, rules, regulations. Keep doing what you're doing.....I see the talent & results in your garden & enjoy seeing it very much.

Raziel. Isn't nothing but me putting my mouth in gear without engaging my brain first? That happens when one has afew too many sometimes. Least does to me anyways. I was making a comment about I didn't think it fair in a contest about grows like a bigger commercial grows comparing with 90% of the main body of growers here on 420. I could go to my son in laws friends warehouses his got going, and find 100 photo subjects. When most people only have afew to go thru. Now that really doesn't matter, you grow a really pretty plant,,, you want others to see. That's why I post on eye candy gallery. After you win repeatedly, it's time to move over alittle. Least I think I wood. But this is just my 2 cents, and I'm glad to see people are giving back some to others. I saw this years back about the contests, and that's why I stay out. I always go look of course. I love pretty bud pictures. And I was so happy to see 420 start a new contest just about photos.
As far as mad,,, hell I'm not mad at anyone here. Sometimes I open my mouth when it's not needed is all. And that wasn't you by no means....................... 70 years old. I can only wish I'm still moving pots at 60 years old. Here I'm having troubles and I'm only 56. And your still at it at 70.. Stay down with your bad ass............................. Naw Wood I didn't take offense at anything being said. I didn't even think it was even inflammatory against anyone, just a few adults expressing their opinions and experiences from life. Anyway, it had me trippin' I came back to the thread to see what was posted and I didn't see my post, I was like didn't I say something???? I thought I posted something on wood's thread, scratched my head fired up the doobie I had and went further on the trip I was heading too. lol

Pot is such a photogenic plant. You know if a person has a half ass decent camera, and uses the right lights, and has a pretty piece of buddage, they can get beautiful pics. These macro lenses are cool. Then lighting is the key. Multiple lights. And what does a grower really have alot of? Lights. I get my super macro lense right down less than an inch of the buds, for a good close up. And the macro for larger bud shots. I use a canon power shot camera myself. But I want to upgrade to the Rebel camera. Not only cus I like the name,,, but I have a friend who uses one and he loves it. I hear they got phones that work great too. Funny I never owned a cell phone. I guess that goes back to when I use to hang around alot of bikers. We are used straight landlines. Hey, I still do. But the 'Old Lady' has one if I was to really need one. But I think if you really want them pictures to POP a good camera helps.
Well the garden is starting to thin out some. I'm going to looking hard at a Super Cheese to trim tonight. She at 9 weeks along with a Blue City Desiel. The BCD isn't the prettiest plant. But talk about fuity smells. And the buds are coated with sugar. I'll get acouple more pics as they come.

Well just acouple real fast pics. This plant is kind of ugly compared to the others I have going. But if you take the right shot,,, she's still comes out pretty; Super Cheese;
and my favorite so far;

Damum Wood, how can you say that "that" cheese is kinda ugly:surrender: if that's ugly to you then I should just turn in my novices card and start payin street prices again. There ain't no way with my micro grow, that I can achieve the standards you set. Man I got a lot of work to do...
