Preventative is definitely where it is at... In my 2 years growing now I have battled my share and now I use preventative stuff... Every 3 days all plants get an azatrol root drench in flower and veg. I keep a 1 gallon sprayer mixed up and just walk through and soak the pots. I have no explanation why but every plant flower or veg loves it and perks up from the root drench.. not sure what azatrol has in it.. all organic.. but its almost tempting to use it more.. they seem to like it.
Any plant going to flower gets a full bath and light fan dry prior. I put a sticky strip on all my pots ..most.. in flower... For me it is gnats recently.. but they are super minimal or gone these days... I still treat it...
It's just what seems to be working for me.... Summer time I am super cautious to bring nothing in the grow room from outside... even change clothes and shoes...

Well Triggle, it won't be hard much longer.................... Pretty soon that rooms going to run dry. But till then,,, tonight I turned Miss J loose on the Janet's Jem. The smallest buds on this on are rock solid. All the way to the bottom. It's what I guess one wood call a 'white' strain. Turned into a nice little plant.
Those are on the hoof, and these are after she she came down.

My veg girls are real close to getting started too. At least the first 6 are. And 2 weeks later I should have 6 more. Those Mind Cantrols seeds are from Dr. Krippling breeder, and it is an easier one to get. The Sponsers have worked good for me. If being pretty means being stoney, she is a winner... Keepem Green

Well, seeing I've been throwing up alot of pics lately, I might as well post acouple more. Like said,,,, pretty soon I won't have anything else to show for a month or so. But I did sneak in and get a pic of the three strains I have left in flower. First, the one I pulled out tonight for Miss J to work on. It's a Jack Herer. I started with 2 of these freebies. One didn't want to act right and I culled her, but this one, she looks great. And is the 'loudest' smelling plant in there. Straight fuel smell and Was a long road to harvest, about 10 weeks in this pic, which is the last time she'll ever grace my flower room.. I pulled her but, Here we go;
Now this one, she has a totally different smell. Man, she's fruity. Blue City Diesel. She smells more like blueberries than the last F4
DJ Short's I grew out. I grew out outside this year so I knew what she was all about, and I wanted to be sure if,,, I was going invest the time, I was going to get atleast a quarter pound, looking at the first of three, I see 2 1/2 ozs off the first. Well here's some of what's left, BCD;
And here's a sneak peak of the last one. I think she's a beauty. I'll work on a good pic of her when she comes out, which will be tomorrow. Mind Cant'rol;
Well I know I've been up bugging people lately all night, I can't call it why I can't ever sleep. Every 30 minutes I come out here for a smoke,,, hey 50 years I been over a pack a day,, unless I was in a place I couldn't. And those weren't by choice... But the doctor said my lungs were clear... Imagine that...........
But anyways,,,,, tomorrow night I plan on getting afew good pics of both the Jack Herer,, and the Mind Cant'rol. And then pretty soon ya'll won't have to deal with me...... JK.... Like the South, I will Rise Again [><] But till then,

I have a question? Which look in buddage do peoples here think looks best? Jack Herer,,, or the Mind Cant'rol? Just something I wonder about. Kind of a Wood Pole..... Keepem Green

Hmmmm that's a hard choice. Sometimes I like icing on my cake and sometimes I don't. Jack looks like a lemon cake with glazed icing, while MC looks like a 7up lemon cake. Can I get a slice of each?

Hey NCW, killer selection of strains, and it seems they all work out for you the same. Well now you have even more weed to choose from... which brings me to a thought I sometimes had as many as 15 different strains on my hands, but rarely smoked more than 3 on a regular basis, cos as soon as I pick a winner I can't smoke something worse.

Thanks, CHH and everyone for looking in. Well, Con I didn't really get much in the ways of outdoors this year. All of it is slated for the budder pot or RSO for me and Miss J. We've smoked up all the Holy Grail Kush I had.So I'm running abit low here. But out of the 8 strains, I just cut, there always is one that works.
Well I had 1 vote for Mind Cantrol. But Lets see what the Jack Herer looks like after we cut her down. She smelled so strong Miss J said it burnt her nose. But here we go;
and my favorite;
Now I still have one more pretty girl coming out tonight. I think I'm saving the best for last. But I really like that pic of Jack. I'm trying to figure which pic peoples think is the best outta them 2. Hell, I might entry a contest? You think that Green Cleaner is used in a mister, or a 1 gal. sprayer or both? Im thinking of the Green Cleaner and a mister for all my indoor besides Aza and Neem. Ive got rosemary oil too but havent used it yet, Im waiting till I need too. Im thinking use the Rmary oil while in flower??? I need to brush up on its details before use. Thanks for all your help!!!!! MOTM, POTM, BOTM to Mr. Norcaliwood!!!

Thanks everyone for stopping in. Dutchess, I have one of them 1/2 gallon misters with the green cleaner. I do a spray regiment right as I start flower mode. I spray twice with the GCleaner. Then once with a neem based product. I do all this right as I take them from veg to the flower room. Remember once a plant is pretty far along in flower, you'll be smoking that flower. A neem based product is whats called a suffocated spray meaning it works by suffocating the bugs with an oil that clogs all it pores. Neem leaves residual product on the buds. Tastes like shit too. I know I've smoked it before. More people have smoked it than they know, but it isn't a good practice. All they leafs a plant has on it in the veg mode, won't be smoked anyways. When I spray,,, I make sure every inch is dripping and spray the stem and the surface of the pot with it too. You never know a bug can be on the soil too. Mites don't burrow in the soil, so a spray ontop couldn't hurt.
Ok so far I have a good estimate on yield off of the them 4 pounds total;
Red Licker Tease, I still can't spell it but; 5+ oz's
8-Ball Kush; 9+ oz's
Incredible Bulk; 8 oz's
Super Cheese; 6 oz's
#1 Blue City Diesel; 2+ oz's
#1 Mind Cantrol 8 oz's
and still drying but an educated guess wood be
Jack Herer 5-6 oz's
Janets Jem 5-6 oz's
#2 Mind Cantrol, which was in a smaller 2-gallon pot, 8+ oz's
#2 and 3 Blue City Diesels 6 oz's
Time to age abit and ripen out.
LOL doctors still can't find the primary C that caused a node to swell up in my neck,,, but they referred me to a robotic surgeon. Sounds like a waste of time till they find the cause. But then I'm no doctor. Miss J is doing great. She got her drain tubes removed yesterday, and starts with a plastic surgeon today. That is if the snow lets us out.
Least we got a good snow and ice out there. Should kill off alot of the bugs outdoors. Hopefully, it kills off the Hemp and Broad mites out there. Last year was the first time I had bugs out there in the back 40.
Well, that's it for now. As of now, the flower room is empty. I do have 6 ready to go. And 6 more in acouple weeks. That way we can take our time when the harvest comes in. BTW both Blue Dreams survived.

Thanks, A-Bird. I did really well this time. I'm been growing damn near 40 years and seen my share of failures. Everything from cops raiding my outdoor grows, even raided a perfectly camouflaged barn, to bugs, to over heating and frying my entire crop. This one came out pretty damn good. Time for the next one. I'm going to keep these going as flips over the ongoing grow. SOOOO much easier when the gardens all the same age close to the same harvest. You get to start with clean bug-free plants, over having a constant food source for bugs to survive on. Having plants in flower 365 days leads to bugs or even PM, you even get to shut down for acouple days for good cleaning.
I'm going to be moving plants to the flower room tonight or tom. First I have to thaw out the flood trays... Still got alot of snow on the ground. The first 6 are just getting over the last topping. Unless I know they are going to be tall Sativa, I let acouple new leafs form after a topping. Them tall ones I like to top, then start flowering 2-3 days after. Helps with the height issues. But I'll get a picture up as I put them under the 1000 watter. I don't have 1500 watt MH bulbs to run in the Master Blaster ballasts soooooooooo.
