Right, smack in the middle Redmud. As a matter, a fact Miss J just finished tightening up one of the Blue City Diesels. I put the other 2 in afew days after so as to work out the harvest for ease.

Totally a sticky mess. And I love the smell. Even I can't help but smell this one. And I'm thinking the best is yet to come. That Jack Herer is crazy sick, and the Mind Cant'rol is still packing it on. I'm like it for the best looking bud I've grown in awhile. I have acouple more days before. Thanks everyone for stopping in.
That BCD was a local growers clone he gave me earlier this year. But BEST seed company? I don't know. There are too many to really say who. HSO has a good Blue Dream. But it seems every breeder has their BEST strains. And if you want the original strain do alittle looking around. Every breeder has a copy cat strain. Take White Widow, which by the way is called Black Window now, every breeder has their own version of it. But only one that was winning all the awards. Then everyone started crossing the same parents and claim they have a White Widow. I happen to have one of the Blue Dreams going in my next flip. Which is coming together kind of slow due to temps. But I have 6 about ready to flower. One in there is called Black D.O.G by HSO Seeds. Pretty plant with fat ass leaves. A Blue Dream by same breeder.
A Purple Orange CBD, which is the first CBD plant I'm going to be growing, acouple By Strain Hunters, called Money Maker, and a Big Tooth, and a Kush Berry by DNA Seeds. That's the first 6 I'm going to flower. And the plan is to follow them up in 2 weeks with 6 more. Those if all goes well,,, will be 2 Red LT's, a Skywalker Kush, a Louis the 14th, a Kosher Kush, and a Critical Mass CBD, with a Mind Cantrol for back up. If the back up isn't needed, I plan on cloning her for a SOG in the future. She can have massive buddage that wood make her a great single cola plant. I'll get a pic soon.. Keepem Green

Well we are getting shit on here,,, as far as weather goes anyways. I have a pic of the Doghouse. Isn't anything growing now,,, except wintering over afew plants.

I did have acouple plants, one being the Crippled I really want. So I have a cut in veg, and I threw the mother outside incase I needed another. But I don't think these will pull thru, do you?

Couple more real fast seeing I got the pictures, Acouple for the next go around. These just got topped for the last time. A week, till I see she recovered and is producing new leaves and they go in flower. Acouple new ones. Black DOG from HSO;

That's what they look like. I think. Try some safer insecticide soap. Should work well on them.

Alright Wood, I need some help... Other than just growing and growing and growing how can I jump start my learning process to be able to tell different stains and stuff like that just by looking at the structure of the plant. Are there books, videos, articles or something that can help fill in the gaps in my knowledge. Man if I could go back in time I'd hang out more with the horticulture guys at NCT instead of spending all my time in the computer labs. Structure, smell, some stretch for the sun some just hang there and chill out, some like P other's need more N.... my brain is exploding, I never knew that horticulture was as technical and exact an science as learning how to program a computer.

Raziel one plain fact people forget is marijuana is just a weed. Sure different strains have different requirements in the food department. That is something only growing will teach ya that. As far as the structure of plants, they all are different. I've grown WW 10-15 times in my life, and they tend to grow very similar. Short petite plant with smaller compact white' buds. Now you take a Thai plant they are tall, with long spaces between internodes, and fluffy buds that tend to run' or foxtail. This is all trial and error learning what works best for you. After afew good grows go under your belt you'll figure them out.
Now I wish I'd have spent time in a computer class, even tho they didn't have computers back then. A man does need to know his way around these PCs anymore. Hell my Old Lady, Miss J has a phone I can't even use because it's to complicated... Pisses me off.
Dutchess, sure looks like aphids after alittle looking at images on a search engine. Not sure what stage your in. But hopefully they are in veg where you can clean them up before flowering. I need to come by and look at your thread. I will later this evening.

sometimes good to do preventative maintenance before it gets bad

That's really the trick it seems,,,, not that I have mastered it, but to knock out bugs before the problem gets bad. A good preventive point is always to spray your plants right when you start flowering. I like to do my last spray before flowering starts with a neem product. Your going to shit can all them fan leaves by the end of it all anyways. And neem is great an anti-feed which will help with them finding the food source. But it's easiest to spray your babies with like say azamax, is when they are smaller. Less leaf for bugs to hide in, and less leaf to cover with the spray. As long as they are big enough, big being well rooted, happy plants. Do a three spray routine, like every 3 days. Just don't start with the max amount, try 3/4 strength, till you see how they take the spraying. I always do a spraying routine before I start flowering. Isn't alot you can do if your real close to harvest, that green cleaner, or even safer soap. I like to spray safers and wait 15 minutes then rinse with water to wash off the bugs. Then get them buds in a dry place. Never spray and turn on your lights. Spray when they go out. Run a dehumidifier incase mold spores are around.
