OTM's DIY Bubble Cloning & Sprouting 40 Year Old Seeds & Current RDWC Harvest

Clone baby clone. I would get that plant up and get clones in 2 or 3 other trusted grow houses. I know somehow I would have an oops and my work would be gone.

Fantastic advice, at this point every plant i have growing is a clone from Jane. Ive got three hopefully settling in and 3 more making roots. 6 or 7 in veg and two in flower. Its a perpetual Sea of Green!

8-4 Update;

Baby Maui has a new home!

This is its no frills starter home, a small 1/2 gal pot of Coco Coir...should be a good starter home until the 10 gal smart pot mansion arrives!

The old bean #4 seems to be stuck at just breaking the surface, I peeked in the rooter and can see roots going into the sides, haven't given up hope just yet, but will be doing seed popping round 3 this weekend anyway...I need two to tango and to get those two I will probably need at least 4 plants to find the two I am after!:smokin:

A couple of the clones will also have a new home this weekend, that will free up some space for roots in the bubble tub until the current grow is harvested.

Speaking of the current grow, here are a few shots of the cola's I am keeping an eye on...filling out and getting frosty!

I will do some microscope shots this weekend, most that I looked at with a jeweler's loupe are pretty clear with a few scattered cloudy trich's, at least 2 weeks away if not more!

:thankyou:

OTM, we need a name for the little gal.

I have no problem giving it a name, hopefully in another week there will be at least one or two more baby Maui's so I will leave that up to all of you to name them...just remember, we do not know that it is a boy or girl, so a unisex name would be appropriate...remember Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue"...we don't want any of that going on!:;):

Call it Haleakalā. It means "house of the sun" and it's the name of the main volcano of Maui.

From Wikipedia: In Hawaiian folklore, the depression (crater) at the summit of Haleakalā was home to the grandmother of the demigod Māui. According to the legend, Māui's grandmother helped him capture the sun and force it to slow its journey across the sky in order to lengthen the day.

Not renaming the strain are we?

I think people are suggesting names for the individual plant.

However, having smoked a lot of Maui Waui whilst hanging out in the tourist town of Kihei over the years, I couldn't resist the bit about smoking "killa Kilauea" in the local pidgin.

Just some stoners having a bit of fun. ;)

I like that, you can call her/him Haley for short :)

Haley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Haley may refer to:
Name
Haley (surname)
Hayley (given name), unisex given name
Haley Bonar, also known as Haley, a Canadian-American musician
Haley Gibby, also known as Haley, an American electronic music singer

Hayley (pronounced /ˈheɪli/) is an English given name.
It is derived from the English surname Haley, which in turn was based on an Old English toponym, a compound of hege "hay" and leah "clearing or meadow".
While it can be used for males, Hayley is most commonly a female given name.

Kīlauea; could not find that as a "name" as you would call a person, just a volcano.

Keona
Keona is the female version of the Hawaiian name Keoni. Meaning God's gracious gift.
Keona is naturally artistic and very beautiful. She has an amazing loving heart, extremely smart and can make you smile on the cloudiest day.

Given Name KEONI
GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: Hawaiian
Meaning & History
Hawaiian form of JOHN.

And I was thinking something simple that I could spell like Pat, Jamie, Lee, Kelly:laughtwo: Hayley would work, Keoni/Keona is defining upon how it is spelled, Adam or Eve would be guess work and I am usually wrong when trying to predict the future!:)

One thing for sure is there are a lot of deep thinkers in this group!:thumb:

The fact that they came up is a miracle. Make sure to take lots of clones, and get them to trusted grow houses. Old school, undiluted genetics!

You can bet I will take clones when the time is right, that way if making seeds doesn't go as planned I still have something to work with!:thumb:

Us stoners do seem to love to have fun don't we!:partyboy:

I use to but I work where were drug tested because we do flight hardware. I'm doing my grows for my daughter. 20 years old with RA and fibro and passed kidney stones every 4-6 months. Just trying to comfort her the best I can. But man brought in 2 loads of hay and put up in the hay loft and I could have used a big old bone to hit today.

My hope is that before I take a dirt nap, this country and others get their shit together and do the right thing! I can see a company policy of not using just before or during work hours much like Alcohol, and most all people that are in a position of high responsibility work results would agree with that. Work performance rather than personal time habits is the criteria I have always used with the employees I have employed over the years, as long as their personal life doesn't affect my business, then it is none of my business!

I am glad you are able to help your daughter, and I bet it probably helps her more than the outrageous high dollar med's that Big Pharma and the doctor involved are pushing!

Another reason to look foreword to your retirement! :thumb:
