Onthe420train's 420 Grow

thanks man hah well I am in a tough situation because the big girls need a transplant badly I guess I'll have to get them into 5 gallon buckets. 5 gal = .7 cu ft so I will probably snag like 1.5-2 cu ft of mix to plant three of the big girls into 5 gallons.

It also seems a cinch to clean the combustion chamber. How about residue in the stem or areas beyond the screen?

that is the picture of the resin buildup beyond the screen. pretty damn beautiful really haha

heh thx G its definitely sleeper weed some pineapple express from last harvest about 3 weeks ago.
I just got killawatt meter and hooked it up to my various things my total grow is taking about 900w... (<715 for hps and fan, 105 for veg, 19 clone bulb, 5-20 for various pumps and accessories)

ya gh chart would be .7 and the ppm of 1530 on the chart would be an EC of 2.18

I am wrong about this.

the Floranova chart on GH.com is a .5 conversion, so they actually recommend EC 3.1 for bloom. Therefore, my EC 2.7-2.8 right now isn't way too high for my system. I will continue to follow this. I'm sure you don't really need that much, I would think that 3.1 would burrrrn them!?

thanks wingman580

decided the cooltube needs replacement badly and I'm convinced that my new adjust-a-wing will produce at least an extra ounce of bud
also need to find the oscillating fan for strengthening the plants... the pedestal and clamp fan will be useful for cooling the tops once the ac tube is gone. ambient temp inside the tent is expected to rise by appx 3-7F.

I was at Lowes yesterday and they still have FANS on display. Walmart puts their up and away in winter.

day 14 for the seedlings, they were planted 12/22 and transplanted into growth stage on 12/29, so today is the 14th day of growth. I suppose to expect another 14-21 days before flowering starts which will put harvest at the end of march.

watched a gang of grow videos like seemorebuds, hightimes, sea of green, top quality home growing. it would seem I could improve on uniformity in my garden - and I agree. Uniformity in the garden cuts down significantly on time and effort put into watering and uses light most efficiently. Next grows will be all clones from the mums I'm vegging right now.

10,000—25,000 lux Full daylight (not direct sun)
32,000—130,000 lux Direct sunlight

One footcandle ≈ 10.764 lux.

average daylight = 75,000 - 90,000 lux = 7000-9000 footcandles

heres a chart for you. it helps me out alot when it comes to lighting heights:

Foot-CandlesHPSDoneNow1.jpg

tells me my 600w should be 21-24 inches from plant and 18 inches to simulate peak direct sunlight. without involving heat factor or anything.

I'm now at a 13/11 light cycle. It seems to me that some of these girls only need 4 to 6 more weeks of budding. also I have been watering for 2 days now with 2.6 EC and having no problems. originally it was more like 2.7 but it was weakened a slight bit - pH started about 5.9 and has made its way up to almost 6.5 - if it gets above 6.5 I'll drop it to 5.8 or so. and am going to keep running at 2.6-2.7 EC. Normally I would consider that a burn risk but it doesn't seem to be causing any.
