OMM's Social Network Part 3

Sorry OMM if you found the soil discussion too much. It was only meant to add information to your grow which you always encourage. It was not a critism at all. I realize you have limitations. The mix I discussed also makes for lighter pots, but at this point. I'll just pass on any more discussion on it as you wish.

I guess I just felt that after having so many journals under my name, that surely I know about soil. I would do HiBrix if I could, it's more a matter of convenience now. I know you were only trying help and like you said, I encourage discussions. Many can learn from you.:peace:

what size shoe do you wear?:) I dont need to loose my mind (whats left of it) in a big pair of shoes:)

I think your plants look like the picture of health buddy! I like to keep things fun and easy too. And the less I Eff with my plants the better they grow.

I wish there was a soil that held moisture for a week or more! That would be awesome!!

I wear a size 13.

I have ranted.

I think you're plants are looking beautiful and full of health!
Got mad respect for you my friend!
Hope you and Jo are groovin along..

Ok, now who messing with you? You know I take names and ask questions later when it comes to you! We all know you have much experience under your belt. personally I don't know too many your age that does what you do or have done. I think it's great that you have help from THSea, wish I had someone close by who could help me when I needed it. And as long as I have been here, I have never seen you have a failed grow so you're doing something right! Keep on keeping on, OMM!!! I know I couldn't walk a mile in your shoes, my feet are way too small, I wear an 8 1/2...lol...

QTL. You can blame me. We just happen to hit a topic I have done a lot of research and testing on and I took it to the next level. OMM took it as being directed at him which it wasn't. I had not seen much container soil science discussed on the site, but probably should have reserved it for another forum such as FAQ. New site user mistake. My bad. :peace:

I have nothing but pure respect for OMM, his growing abilities, and the amazing story of his life, the reason I read all his journals before posting here. Maybe my familiarity with him before I posted here made me a bit too comfortable. I hope I don't create any more misunderstandings. I might want to visit Hawaii someday.:green_heart:

Dang Soil talk gets everyone riled up!! LoL!! I would be surprised if OMM was upset.

I know a few people have talked about using the air pots and pure perilite. I am sure that would work great. I am a lazy grower so I hate watering. If I went that route I would go straight hempe.

Hi my friend Vick074.:high-five:

Thanks, the respect goes both ways.:thumb:

Jo is grooving at the dentist today, poor girl. :circle-of-love:

Man, I love the way seeds give you those opposite leaf arrangements. Clones just don't look as pretty with their alternate leaves.

They sure do Mando. Very few clones develop a natural beauty....they do later on, but not at first. I do have one clone that looks like a seed grown plant. It's a Prozac. I'll get up a picture of it soon.:high-five:

Hey Sprout! :high-five:

Well, I had a good teacher.....YOU! I have already started topping the tops. These babies are going to be bushy and bushier. I'll take reps from the Master anytime my old Buddy. Thanks. I have high hopes for this grow, if all goes well, I'll be trimming allot in a few months. Hello to you Miss J.

Thanks for explaining it Mando. I know all about newbie mistakes, I may even hold the record for the most around here..lol.. And you're not to blame for feeling comfortable here, OMM has that effect on people. Also a reason why I am a bit over protective of him but he is good people. The very best.

Whoa! Me too!

On the shoes.

OMM! Love them girls, they look FINE. I was just kidding about the KECo, I keeping kicking around the idea of running them. It would be a good choice for a lot of reasons (for me)... But thats rarely the choice we go with, huh?! ;)

You need a team of growers to run all your seeds OMM

Its like discussing religion or politics... But for growers... Substrate, pH and light schedule.. Great way to rile up more than you bargain for .

Talk about someones dirt,,,,,,,,,,,, thems is fighting words. We are all creatures of habit and resist changes, but lending to the phase, if it ain't broke don't f with it. And them youngsters look as happy as any, anywhere around. Looks like it working great to me. Don't get Pop's all rilled up, y'all don't what that 'Old Hillbilly' on the feud. Some people get lost up there in them Ozarks Mountians and never come out. Especially the ones talking bout a man's dirt. Well Keepem Green 'Y'all'
