Just wnted to drive thru Pop's and say hey. Kindof just checking up little. You know me, to much to follow totaly here, but sounds like you are hanging in there. Great. Hey you knoe me and mine, 'Miss J', have never had a fight in 5 years now. The right partner and you won't fight. Man my last was a real winner. LOL. Bi Polor bitch from hell. Oh well, life. We all have had to deal with some problems, 'life'. I went back afew pages and didn't see any pictures updated. But then I don't see you talking any problems with them. Sure hope everything is good over there.
Hey you never 'know'. I've been looking at cruises. Hopefully if I go over there, we can hit a good time to take you and Jo out for a bite or a beer, something. Talking about 3-4 months from now. Bad thing is I'll have to get to and from SF. My city bye the bay. I really like the Bay Area. Kind of wish we could take everything and move there. East Bay Hills.
But its a 14 day, and looks like it makes the rounds. I'd imagine you know all the big ports around these handle big ships. Sad thing with my luck is I'll end up stuck on a boat with banks of non paying slots surrounding me for two weeks. Could turn costy, but wtf might as well enjoy alittle before I kick the bucket. JK I hope.

I appologize to my wife everyday for the things I AM going to do to piss her off! Even when I try not to piss her off I manage to do it.:) No Fights Just a broken ego now and then!
 
Hey buddy! Just thinking of you and Jo. Hoping her dr's visit goes well and that she can get everything figured out and fixed. Sure hate seeing you guys struggling with all the health stuff my friend. Take care of yourselves - so glad you guys had the rainbow moment... Was nice learning more about how you met Jo finally! Tons of positive energy your way brother. :)
 
I hope you both are feeling better today or at least better than before. Thanks for posting the link about the OC, I have bookmarked it. I think I asked this before but didn't see a response. Which OC works the best with coco?
 
Hey Everyone!

I'm sorry, I will not be answering you individually today. Just pain old feel too bad. Good days, bad days ya know.
Took Jo in again today, now they are in prevent a stroke mode with her. Gave her yet an other pill for her to try for her migraine. If it works, then they will pursue preventing a stroke. That's all she or I need at the moment.

As for myself...I have called and went on line for my appointments. Have heard nothing yet. I received two big boxes of meds that I have to start in the morning. Got to go through them and figure out when I should take each of them.

I spend most of my time in bed right now....just don't feel like doing anything. Don't worry, just have to do what they say and get better. Sure wish they would call me for the appointments I need. It will all work out I'm sure.

Hey OMM, if the doctor didn't tell you, they make a magic pill now for stroke victims. Supposedly if the patient takes the pill within an hour after the stroke, most or all of the aftermath from a stroke will be diminished or reduced. I don't remember the name of it, but I'm sure your Dr. will. That would be a really good pill to have at the house and close by. I hope the both of you are feeling better, sending shitloads of positive vibes your guys way.:Love::Love::Love:

On another note I have some questions for anybody that has experience with fluorescent lights.
Question # 1 I'm going to use four foot fluorescent bulbs and ballasts, do all ballasts put out the same amount of voltage, or are there ballasts that are better than others? Is a ballast a ballast?

Question #2 what kind of bulbs should I buy? I need to veg and bud with them, so I guess I need a mix of red and blue parts of the spectrum. And these kind of bulbs, how much do they cost?

Q1:... The bulbs are standardized I think to the sizes... Length and it's T-#..the T size will matter for the bulb to fixture... And high output needs the same type fixture... I don't know much really but this is what I remember from when I wanted to use those lights.

Q2:... The best thing about these fixtures is you can mix and match. You will find people that will tell you stay with certain ones.. Up to you! I ended up going with a CMH because it has a nice full spectrum with one bulb... Fit what my growing conditions ended up being by the time I started growing...

Hope this helps! There are guys here that will either correct me or help you out more :).
Oh, and girls. Let's not leave out the growing ladies ;)

i was using these special flouros on my first grow you can get info on it in the journal
you can see results from those flouros on that first journal too i just perused the journal quikly and dont know where the bulb info is but they are litro grow lights special made bulbs not cheap for flouros but runs cool and it work for both phases of growth

Real Sorry to hear about the lack of energy you have. What a drag. I hope Jo gets better soon too. Even though she gets your goat once in a while she still has a soft spot in your heart.

A question for all you island folk. Many ... many moons ago as a kid each year around this time we would get "Hawaiian". It was long very thin buds like a pencil and bright green with plenty of bright orange hairs. I know it is long shot and it is most likely not even from Hawaii but I thought I would chuck it out there.

Anyone know what it might be?

Sounds like you've got lots going on right now...don't worry about anything but feeling better. You and Jo. (nice story, btw) I'm really glad that her dr will do what it takes to get Jo the help/tests she need. Hopefully your dr's will get back to you soon. Figure out what's up with you too. Scary stuff...about Jo. Sorry you two have so much health problems...Good vibes, always my friend. I think about you every day. Keep us updated as you are able.

I never knew there was a diff in the fluros lighting lighting till i started looking to buy. but as long as you use blue to vegg and red to flower all would be good. Somebody correct me if im wrong like most of time. lol but we inside groweres want to mimick the natural sun.

Hey smokem. It's best and a little more cost effective to buy the bulb and fixture together, that way you don't have to worry about which ballast for what bulb. Sunblaster has a good T5 in 2, 4, and 6 foot lengths, in single bulb, all the way up to 8 bulb fixtures. Hydrofarm, also has some like this, but they're a little more pricey. Both of those are for High Output T5's and are very love amperage.
