T-5's are what you want, High Output (HO) or Very High output (VHO) if you can get them. This advice is assuming you want to get the maximum amount of lumens/watts/power. The greater the watts, the greater the lumens (usually). The old adage of watts per square foot still applies....I shoot for 50 to 60. If you are trying to go cheap get standard Homer dePot T-5's and bulbs. Don't use the old style, "fat tube", T-12 or T-5 bulbs. Even if they are free.

A question for all you island folk. Many ... many moons ago as a kid each year around this time we would get "Hawaiian". It was long very thin buds like a pencil and bright green with plenty of bright orange hairs. I know it is long shot and it is most likely not even from Hawaii but I thought I would chuck it out there.

Anyone know what it might be?

Hi Buckshot I don't know what it is. Maybe THsea will look in. He is the expert on Hawaiian strains. He is trying to save them when he finds them. :high-five:

Hi there sqwheels! Yesterday was not a mail day, however in was a parcel post day and I received two big boxes of meds. My missing prescriptions were in there and I immediately took the ones I was missing. They made a difference and I feel some what better today.
She sent me all sorts of things to inhale for my lungs. Will start them tomorrow. Also some new creams for my arms....which I am using already.
The Urology Clinic called too. I was busy with Jo and will call them tomorrow. Things are looking up for me.

Jo's Doctor was off today....she only works 3 days a week, so we will probably see her tomorrow for Jo's MRI. Jo's head is still killing her. I'll keep you and everyone posted. Finally getting to see folks...which lifts my spirits.:high-five:
 
Pop's you do what they say both of you. I'm saiding all the good Karma I can send. Rest is the best med's sometimes. Hope Jo finds something to work for her. Headaches suck I know afew that have hella cronic headaches. Some can be totaly incapacitating ones. Hang in there and well cacth up in abit.
Hope you got the garden dialed in so you don't have to much work to do. Sometimes the onley work I wanna do is roll a joint. Sure helps growing in soil. Really bout all you have to do it water every now then. Real fore-giving way to grow. Well Stay Down with your Bad Ass

Hey Sprout! Thanks for coming by and checking on me. Yep, Jo is really having bad time. MRI tomorrow I hope! As a matter of fact, I do think I have it dialed in. Carrying water is about the most strenuous thing I do now. Of course you have 9 or more plants, thats a hassle, outside.
Going to get in better shape soon, I hope!

Has Jo ever been in a car accident or suffered other type of neck or back injury ??

Reason I ask is I got my top vertebrae, forgot the name, injured about 8 years ago. Breaking up a fight in one of the worst gentleman's clubs in the city. Lead Bouncer, fun times. Anyways, I had one guy wrapped up and controlled, another bouncer had the other guy controlled. Well we did not know about the third, he punched me in the back of the neck, knocked me out. Woke up in the hospital all braced and strapped down. Anyways, when the top 2 vertebrae swelled up, they ended up pinching alot of nerves, when the swelling went down, they just took the nerves and kept them pinched.

I get chronic head aches ranging from dull that last for about a week to migraines that last all most as long. Most of mine can be helped by tapping on my neck, like messing with a loose light socket. Oh and every now and then my pinky finger on my right hand goes numb for a day or so.

Maybe a good question to ask the doctor ?? I don't know, just trying to help

Hi Sinful. Actually she has had many falls as a kid. Paralyzed from the waist down for a year. Her mother wouldn't take her to a doctor. She's had other things too. A full box of files fall on her head.
The Dr. knows all of this and is looking at everything. Thanks You Bro.

Hopefully that MRI finds her problem and it's treatable. Hey I have to do afew Jane Fonda workouts myself. It's too easy to waste away and not do anything. Well 'High' to Jo. And I'm getting alittle bit more serious about that cruise there. My X's family is from Molokai. I hope I can find them and say high. Her cousin is a oldtime local grower over there. He's been growing since like 1970 under the banana trees. Well take care and Keepem Green
 
Hey OMM, I hope this note finds Jo and you much better, or at least with some answers. Keep doin what they tell you to do, and we will keep sending the positive vibes Jo's and your way. Hopefully the MRI will show something.

And thanks to all that replied to my questions, doing some research on the setups now. Another question I've come up with is HOW DO I KEEP THE TEMP OF MY WATER AND NUTES DOWN BELOW 70 DEGREES F.? Not looking to run a chiller, but I gotta do what I gotta do. Again thanks all.

i think you guys are gonna get to feeling alot better soon, i just have that feeling, so i have a scrog and some berry bomb seeds, maybe i could do a prox type grow for you lol much love and adoration from the bid fam:circle-of-love:
