DAMN It I smoked yesterday ......I cut way back but still not good enough. I was around smokers ............The sun was in my eyes..........I lost my car keys .......EXCUSES EXCUSES I got a million of them .........I will try harder today

When I was quitting cigs at one point I became light headed, flushed, cold sweat and found myself looking in the trash can for ducks (cig butts) My girl friend/wife now said just go to the store and buy a pack. Some how I didn't. I guess I didn't want to see disapointment in her eyes. Putting others first helps, its an addiction that will hurt ones self and potentially break the hearts of the ones in our lives. I also pounded a beer and went to bed lol. I also made it a point to not avoid cigs especially at work I mean lets face it only the smokers got breaks so I was not going to miss out on that plus that little bit of second hand was great. I eventually got to were the smoke smell was so nasty I started to stand up wind. Just stay strong and when your cravings our at their worst just think how unatural it is to purposely draw poison into your body. You wouldn't stand over a camp fire and breath in would ya? Just some things that helped put my addiction into perspective! You can do it. And you will if you really want it bad enough.

this new deputy gets his first patrol car and so he finds an emergecy turn aroundto sit and run radar.
this guy is flying down the Interstate well over a hundred miles an hour passes the deputy so he pulls out and stops him.
the new deputy asks the man why he was going to fast?
towhich he replies"well I have all these drugs and money,guns and ammo in the trunk. Its not mine but I need to get it there to get paid.
the new deputy all excited gets the man out of the car cuffs him and puts in the back of the patrol car
the deputy grabs the keys from the igniton and tries to open the trunk.
several keys were on the chain but none would open the trunk, not one!.so he calls headquarters and talks directly to the sherriff.
he says to the sherrif " I have a man pulled over with drugs guns and money in the trunk of the car and need some help"
the sherrif tells him"I personaly am on my way to help"
when the sherrif arives he sees the the car and the man in the back of the patrol car. then another cruiser shows up and another.
all of them working to open the trunk and make the bust.
none of the keys would work so they got some cop tools out and pried the trunk open.
when they got it open there was nothing there! so the sherrif himself went to the back of the car and asked the man " my deputy called us and said that you had drugs money and guns in the trunk. there is nothing in there.
the guy in the patrol car said "oh yeah? I bet he said I was speeding too"

Hi,I am a first time grower and only have the outdoors.Plants are doing great except we are in the middle of 3 days of rain,well the rain is gathering up on the buds and I have already had to prune off some mold,what a waste.Anyway do you know if it is ok to shake the plants a little to knock the water off,they are about 1 week from harvest.Any help would be appreciated.

Does the wind ever blow? If so shakem up bro! I use a leaf blower to get the big drops off my outdoor girls.

spray with 10% vinegar and water . spray it real good every couple of days . will not hurt the buds and mold will die. lowers the ph to where mold will not live. i have been doing it most of the summer. plants love the spray .

so they got some cop tools out and pried the trunk open. Cop tools, so descriptive I love it. I think they carry that on their belt, right next to the slim jim (cajun flavor)

Thanks GG. Good way to think of things. I'm on day three....still haven't wavered yet The patches kill the urge very well. Already can breath better. For me I have to quit or they tell me, die. Not ready to go yet!

The Story Continues....................................................OE An Unexpected Job

We were all setting in the office one morning trying to get caught up on all our paper work and the phone rang. The Major got it and came bolt up in his chair. He talked a minute or two more. When he hung up the phone he said "Grab your gear, all of it, we have a job".

We pulled up in front of a Supply Division Headquarters. As we walked in a Sgt. said "The Colonel is waiting in his office." And pointed to a door..As we went in, a surprise hit us in the face. There was the Commandant of the OE School; he was now the Commander of the Supply Division. As he shook our hands, he said "I have really fucked this up! I need help!". We listened to him, and he explained to us that all his officers were against him and were uncooperative. "I think I have lost control!" The Major said "Don't worry Sir, we will get right on it".

The Major and The Captain said they would interview the troops, so that left the Officers for Lea. and I. We called all the Companies and talked with the Commanders. Every last one of them said they wanted their interviews that afternoon. They wanted action, then and there.

We met them in a warehouse that afternoon. Lea wrote the answers and suggestions on white paper and I facilitated. First question I asked was "What is really going well in the Division?" A Captain immediately said "Skip that question, nothing is going well!".

So, I asked the next question. "What is not going well?".

Pandemonium ensued. When we left that afternoon we had at least 40 pages of things that were wrong in their eyes.

The Troops were to be interviewed the next morning.

What we usually did was compare both sets interviews and pick out common themes that reoccurred in both interviews. That would take place the next afternoon, we thought, however the troops interviews went on until 5 pm.

When the Major and Captain returned, they were tired and were not smiling.
"We have a big job ahead of us and it isn't going to be pretty". Lea and I knew that already.
