Sure. But you don't want your water temps to go much below 63F. Your plants will grow slowly, and never find the elusive second gear. But, put them on a pallet or something and you should be just fine... as long as the rest of the environment is right
Mine are on the floor. No winter probs. With the pump, lights, room temp, it balances out pretty well.
On the odd chance it does get too cold, a little heater made for fish tanks works wonders. Just gotta make sure the heaters temp range can get down to 65F, some won’t since fish like it closer to 80F typically.
