The ac is still running here but I can at least sleep with the windows open. The plants seem to be enjoying it for the most part.

Its possible you need more enzymes. You'll find out pretty quick if the product is the issue or your system is growing the funk. Do you have hydrogen peroxide? If so how strong is it? You may need it if the issues get worse.Day 9 veg update

This morning a small issue started. I noticed a lower leaf with some rust around the edge. I lifted the pot and the roots didn't look good at all brown a limp. 2 days ago when I changed out the reservoir I added Enzyme Komplete at .25 strength new product I haven't used before. I going to say the plants are not liking it at all. So I have drained and flushed out system refilled and juiced it back up without the enzyme Komplete. Hopefully this will straighten things out.
Grow room temp 76F humidity 54%

Added 400ml part 1 & 2

I don't have any peroxide on hand but I know they have it at the grow store 90% shit turns your skin white if you get it on you. No odour res temp have been good 68 70F I will give it a day or two and see what happens.
Jeeeez This journal moves hella fast Smokey! Sorry to hear about the troubles with the roots. I got no clue with Hydro. One day I’ll give it a shot but for now.... Pro-Mix/Sunshine Mix #4. Im just starting a new run that I’ll be able to document here. Got a run on the go that I’m not allowed to document here so I haven’t been around much. I’ll be around more now though.

90 huh... ive never seen it that high. The stuff I use is over 30 and it will bleach your skin. If you get the growstore stuff wear gloves and eye protection. The burns really suck.

Pure peroxide will react in ambient air. The Germans used it in the first jet air planes as fuel, in WWII, but its so crazy filling the planes was more deadly than flying them. Its really bad news.
If your enzymes are compared to Z7 you should be okay with using 100% every three days . I only drop to 25% when the system is clear of muck plus I use hydroguard on every reservoir change . I just like snow white roots . I also used a spray bottle of 6.3 phed water to wash the muck off the roots , well as much as I could.

Can't get z7 or hydroguard here in Canada. There are a few different enzyme products here in Canada enzyme Komplete is one and is supposed to be good but my plants didn't seem to like it at all on the first application.

Well Roots looked perfect when I changed out the reservoir. This morning I noticed the rust spots on the one leaf check the roots and they didn't look good at all. So in 2 days that happened adding the EK was the only thing I changed reservoir temp has been solid at 68-70. So that's what suspecting it was the enzymes.
More evidence for me to stick to soil out the bag ready to go never an issue.
Enzymes will just munch on the crud that gets on the roots . Won’t absorb into the root system.

My only worry is that you didn't add enough enzymes and the creeping death got a foothold.

My main 4x4 is a full gorilla. For a little more over a lite, you get more/better duct ports, 3x the fabric thickness, AND a 1ft height extension kit.
Worth it, to me at least.
I have 3 other non gorillas, and they are alright. Nothing to write home about, but functional.

Smoke a turkey? Nah. Not any more. Spatchcock is the way to go, hands down. You’ll never do one another way, guaranteed.
Just an FYI, probably known, but don’t forget that MC will stain your roots a light brown too.
Z9 is the Canadian version of Z7. Guess they had to change the formula a tick for up yonder.
I’m back to running sterile. 1.5ml/gal of plain, unscented, non-splash proof, regular ol clorox. (0.5ml/L, for the metric folks.) Do NOT exceed 2ml/gal. Just sayin. Repeat every other day.
Cheap, easy, effective.
