The upfront has more work than soil, and there is a learning curve, AND it is more expensive up front but I have left my plants unattended for a week before with no issues. So, I'd say its easier, but only after I really learned how to do it

I had a Gorilla tent for a while. It was a "lite" model and was still higher quality than I have ever seen from other brands. It was a 4x4 in my garage. I can only imagine their flagship products is incredible. I could hang from the frame on that thing... and I'm not exactly a petit flower. I would never buy anything but a Gorilla. They arent cheap, but it will never fail

You're right... I never considered the head butt of death.

A place in Pasadena called BG Hydro sells both the heavy weight and bantam weight models from Gorilla. If you wanna look at them together.

8x4 would be a killer size

Absolutely. But as you pointed out the 4x8 was too expensive for my taste so I went with a cheap brand that surprisingly has no issues either.
