Nobody's COB Perpetual: Various Strains & Some Edible Fun At Times In A Tiny Tent

I'm watching the cob action myself. Up to last week cob was something I grew weed with and ate in the summer with corn wrapped around it.

I like it in a cup with mexican cheese, red pepper, lime, sour cream and butter.

I did a little bending on the top 4 nodes of the WW.

Maybe tomorrow.

I could use some tonight, heavy on the asadero.

RE making a cob with a hemp blunt roll...I am in talks with sue and reading the thread, I might try a couple nice blunts off the ak like this. I found a heavy hemp paper that has a texture kinda like a husk.

A little bending goes a long way!

Yeah, I am pleased with how the bending on the ak went, although I should have revisited the site for a week or so.

Tonight's music is Sonic Youth B-Sides

Pulled this out of the pantry after a smoke....

Madecase 63% Honey Crystals.

Nice size bar for the price, think I gave 2 bucks for this at whole foods via the prime sale. 63 tastes like milk to me....but i've been on a honey kick and thought this might be interesting. I like the texture of the honey in this bar, it adds quite a sweet crunch that ends up being nothing like you thought it would-pretty darn buttery chocolate to me, this is the good stuff, the wrapper says heirloom (I need to hunt for this without the honey), it's really big upfront, the honey is off to the side, in the middle it gets sweet and powdery to me and finishes bitter and long....blows away last nights bar by miles and for 2 bucks is quite a bit of utility past my normal zero bar. Honey flavor 8/10-not what you expect, chocolate 9/10-serious stuff.

Love this idea!

US Breeder AK47 (Pf) - Day 63+45
Dutch Passion Colorado Cookies (a) - Day 29+14
US Breeder White Widow (Pf) - Day 64+7

HSO Raspberry Diesel (Pf) - Day 52
Cali Connection Green Crack (Pf) - Day 38
US Breeder BlueBerry (a) - in soil, 'u can do it'
HSO 707 Headband (Pf) - late September w Goo

BBa-Not much change. We will give it till mon or tues to progress before dropping another.

Flower side - Mixed up 2L/6.5/400ppm - 2.5ml Seaplex, 1ml Ca/Mg, .5ml Tea, 2ml Pro-Tekt, 10ml Big Bloom. Ak got a liter, other two got a half liter. I am running the reds pretty much all day for a total of 260w since outside temps are a lot more favorable.

I did some more bending on the White Widow w some fan leave removal-IDK what this plant is going to turn out like. Removed 2 fan leaves on the Colorado Cookies. My theory on this spog is that some autos have more of the rudy in them and that's what you end up with. IMO these are not stabilized genetics and should not be out on the market.

I took a look at the AKs tricomes, I see sporadic amber, maybe less than .25%, Of the remainder we are about 50% opaque/clear. I plan to cut at opaque/amber.

Veg side - Mixed up 1L/6.5/450ppm, 1.25ml Seaplex, .5ml Ca/Mg, 1ml Tea, 1ml Pro-Tekt, 6ml Big Bloom. The raspberry diesel looks ready to get fan leaves removed and go to flower but it will have to wait till the AK is done...I might pull a clone or two this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I might pot it up as well today, it's in a Smart 2, needs a 3 or even better maybe a 4. I am planning on it going into flower in about 2 weeks when the ak is done.

The GC is pretty dark, I might want to watch it's N, but it might be it's growing due to the up-pot and fresh soil.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Paper Mâché Dream Balloon

Interesting theory on the spog®!

Just a thought, not really theory, but it does make sense that these little spogs we see show sex and flower super early with little light. My CC was flowering under about 30w of indirect.

I would bet a sample of auto plants that exhibit the behavior would prob show dominate genetics in the rudy camp. We don't want autos like the AK47 that I have in flower.

My guess is these plants resemble little of the strain we want, in my case the marketed strain of Colorado Cookies.

But people are buying the 'auto'. And their getting what they pay for.

Who knows

I haven't had one but I see it here and wonder myself. That makes sense.

Yes it's a whole different field of flower I think. Myself, not being savy to many of the classic types, I don't know the difference and can be easily pleased. Maybe I could be disapointed going from there to a photo. Expectations? Some thoughts

I am not sure, and all this is a wild cogitation at best. I slept during hort classes.

If one could prove that these autos had more rudy in their hybridization, it might be interesting to take a set of them and do them both indoors and out. I would bet the behavior would not be as drastic outdoors.

But seeing as how photos don't really do this, we CAN point the finger at the introduced trait these strains share. If you think at all the variability in grows;environs, nutes, media, etc....the rudy is the one control.

Tonight on for music i've selected some more Sonic Youth (disk 2 from last night), Slowdive, mbv, and Santana. Might do some The War On Drugs before bed.

Grasping at straws on this theory. One in October and one in June. It's either stress or genetics that does it.
I'd be very disappointed to give the space in the tent and get one or more small ones. Has anyone asked for their seed $ back in these cases? Small differences are one thing. A person should get what they average on a plant in weight in the end I think.

BBa - it's not doing a thing. I pulled it, there was nothing to the root, just the top of a sprout thing. I have a couple trips over the next two weeks, so I am going to re-drop when I drop the 707.

Flower - The WW got more played with. The CC actually looks like it's trying to gain weights. I will up it's nutes....who knows I might get a half zip.

Shed-what were your yields on the spogs?

Mixed up 1.75L/6.5/350ppm, 2ml seaplex, ml protekt, 1.5ml karma, drops of buddha bloom to 350 then ph'ed. Smaller plants shared a half liter, the AK got 1.25L. I've noticed the AK is not sending up new pistols, this slowed for a couple days and it's all but done, I can see the ones that were new two days ago are now older and no new ones have popped. Tricomes are getting cloudier...this could be a sub 60 day plant....cool.

Veg - the RD got potted in a #3 smart, 1L/6.5/400ppm, 1ml tea, 1.25 seaplex, 1.25 karma, 6ml big bloom.
