Nobody's COB Perpetual: Various Strains & Some Edible Fun At Times In A Tiny Tent

I think I had too much N going into flower in the Sour G, probably because I had no idea what "going into flower" meant on an outside photo! It's got a lot of clawing going on. I'd scale back your N to the smallest amount you can with your nute blend.

I have to say though that my AK didn't mind the same nutes!

I have been giving this one about 1000+ @ 2x week and around 500-800 on the other days.

Were you giving above that in flower? And did not reduce any around 45 days?

I will also add the bloom organic nute I use is 0.25 N and the synthetic botanicare is 1 N, and Ca/MG is 1 N as well. My soil has a ton of N via bloodmeal and earthworm castings and bat crap, etc.

Maybe just use the organic nute buddha bloom from here on out.

Food for thought while my stoned self listens to The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

So, less ppm and less N. Maybe cut out the Botanicare Bloom (what I used today) and use the Buddha Bloom and Big Bloom in lower ppm.

Man it's windy out, makes for hard use with the hemp wick.

I'd say if the tips look good then the PPM (TDS?) is fine. It's just the ratio that's out of balance if the leaves are clawing. And keep in mind that clawed leaves don't recover so new growth is the indicator.

Sorry about the hemp wick .
Tips are gradually getting more burnt, it's barely there, but has progressed this week.

This plant has clawed everytime I have fed, this clawing looked worse, they eventually de-claw.

Growth on the buds is good, there is healthy uniform foxtailing, the nodes are filling in from top down and I am worried about supporting it going forward, might put a tomato cage on it.

The hemp wick is a small price to pay for a cold front and rain. I am over it. There was a workaround.

Mixed up a large batch of 300ppm/6.5 with just Big Bloom and Seaplex for everyone. Did not have to add pH adj. This is what I will be mixing for the next week for most of the bloom plants. The veg plants will get a little Buddha Grow mid-week.

I raised the light where it's about 10 off the AK and about 14 off the WW and CC. We had a cooling shower or two and it's cooler out....with fan on lowest setting and all lights on I can keep the tent at 81. I still am alternating the osram deep reds in the evenings and occasionally for hour long periods during the day when using co2. I've heard more red can cause bananas, but have not seen any indication on the AK or CC other than equal foxtailing on the uppermost AK buds-these are thick heavy buds....hope they stay that way.

Happy day off to those off.

IDK if we are using the term clawing in the same manner. I refer to it when a plant 'pouts' after a watering or feeding....is this what your talking about?

OK, I looked it up, this plant is not at the point where anything is yellowing, looking burnt, and leaf movement follows watering and returns to normal...

The biggest N I am feeding is the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Soil, 1-5-4, ca 1 mg .5 and i've limited that to 2x week for 3 weeks and only once the other weeks while in bloom. Now it's totally possible that the soil combined with this little amount of N is still too much.

I have an organic .5-4-1 that I use, but it is without ca/mg, so net it is 1.5-4-1.

I could also just use the above organic and big bloom and skip on the ca/mg, the organic buddha bloom has mg or ca but not both (forgot).

So I am thinking I just might continue the same feedings, but just cut the ppm down on the day I use the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro and hopefully this cuts back the leaf effects.

I can't reduce the N in the soil.

Alrighty folks, here is what happened today.

1-AK got 3.5L/100ppm/6.5, it had seaplex and karma in it. Did get a little runoff, about 1kppm, but as measured out of a dirty saucer.

2-keeping the plugs on the WW clones wet, days 5 and 6 for them. Look in the saucer in the shade of the Raspberry Diesel.

3-the Colorado cookies 1/8oz wonder and the White Widow got some 200ppm Big Bloom, Seaplex, 6.5.

4-I gently removed the green crack from it's 1g and put it in a #3 smart, with more of my amended soil and 1l, 6.5, 200ppm Big Bloom, seaplex, botanicare tea. Also removed the lower pair of fan leaves.

I might have to drop another BB seed, this one has barely any oomph.

off to make pizza for dinner.

Hi nobodyhere I think it's my first visit here. Very nice. Saw your soil recipe, and your plants look super because of it. Good growing man.

Hey Stoneotter....welcome! Feel free to chime in. I will sneak over and look at your threads today.

Today I have to run to the barn for a bit. The veg plants still are a touch damp, so they will get the pass today.

I have 1.75 L of seaplex and karma around 100ppm, and the flower plants that are dry will get a hit of that.

side note-Last weekend the wife brought more dark chocolate bars home. Don't know what it is, but I eat a bar over the course of a week, I usually have a dime sized piece after I smoke out....really enjoyable, but it cuts through the weed taste and it's so damn good. I usually do dark, but last night I opened a whole foods milk, toffee and salt bar and that shit was wonderful after a bowl.

I am not much of a munchy person....either when stoned or not.

Good chocolate is so good stoned. I like a few salty pistachio nuts between choc-gasms.

They should have chocoholics anonymous. That stuff is like a drug to me. I have some 85% that I snack on. I don't really drink anymore (whisky+me=bad decisions squared) but I smoke and do chocolate.

Your plants are quite lovely.;)
