Nick Hardy & Co Graduation: Coco Co2 High EC: Grown in Thailand: Perpetual

We chatted just after I posted that., asked if I fessed to killing then,

“What do you think?”

- 100% you said it was your fault. I know you too well.

What real mates are.

Anyway probably all “Deed” means Dead with a certain accent 🤣 but we’ll try and get one. Just would be awesome.

Plan C in play.

Need delay the popping though.

This is how it panned out… (we spoke on the phone inbetween)

It was a cluster F of a bad day for that to have happened. Both so busy, hottest day and one careless hurried message. Such an idiot am I. I didnmt aend that last message all cool.

Meh. Stuff happens. We’re really pretty serious about it now though. He is coming into hopefully a bit more time and calm. Builders hopefully done soon. And we are mad competitive. We killed them all. Its fine. We are set to go with knowldge, wisdom and power.

Dunno what you bring Nick?🤣

Nick & TRNH (Mates - we ran a whole assessment of structural failures in planning and communication) in three minutes whilst laughing. All cool)

Nothing like taking a hit in stride and with humor, Nick! You got this. I have to admit, the toothpicks as support for the sprouts made me laugh hard. Lol!

Toothpicks make the best support for seedlings.
I may have suggested them last Saturday. He upgraded to chopsticks.

He reckons all dead.

My ‘“tis but a flesh wound “ (Monty Python) thing? Yeah that’s probably over.

Azi pointed out - I’m actually learning stuff so thought the same but just had bitten my tongue with TRNH - they were overwatered at the start.

Hence the crinkly leaves.

Not enough air circulation

Then I tried to smash a fix to up pot quickly before 21st June and he was busy and I killed them. Autos I know. Who cares soltice?

We were going to harvest before he goes on the annual holiday. Which meant the expensive passive watering system I bought wouldn’t have been needed!

We can pop 3 @Barney's Farm Strawberry cheesecake Auto tomorrow but they be on for harvest while he’s away.

So we’re gonna wait a week.

“Stress Tested” the environment. 😂

And we get the fun of having rhe last week of flower where I’m 6200 miles away and he’s 2500 miles away.

Pure genius!

- anyone evwr grown under HPS and CMH let me know.

I’m doing the Solo Journal under them. Double ended fans and all that.

Because never tried it and so cheap!

My farmer mates have no interest in LEDs so they dared me.

They didn’t realise they were daring me until I showed them my purchases. 🤣

Its for the Solos to start but who knows? I outline why it might not be crazy. Via the history of television whixh is very relevant to grow lights I think.

Psyched for some old school lighting!

Sunday update.

Not much on this one.

Stock take on clones in a bit. Finally got & Co label stock on hand properly (English honey!)

We’re going 12 Indy and 9 Strawberry Molly next grow. We’ll keep some mothers of the Island. But want a big quick grow. Strawberry Molly yields better than the Indy so extra to balance.

Outdoor grow here. Bit of growth! Still in with a shout of hitting my mark by the 21st!

Outdoor grow in Europe we’re waiting for the window to open so they finish when TRNH is back from holiday. Double check but think that looks like popping a week from today.

We finally emptied the white airpots from the last grow today.

Saw some more roots.

Thank you @DYNOMYCO !

I love the way the roots even got down into the indentations of the “feet” of the pots!

These were all treated 3-4 times with it, depending on where they were in the batches.

Awesome stuff!

That’s it here for now. Which is handy because ai think Monday to Friday is going to be the Solo grow.

Doesn't every Englishman know how to garden? Hardening off should be second nature over there!

:goodluck:
It's never a good thing to use domes for seedlings if you don't really have to. Always better to sprout seeds in straight seedling mix, jiffy, peat or coir pucks.

I would strongly advice everyone to stop using domes for seedlings, the result is only damping off/wilt off. Keep humidity up to 70% instead and a light breeze blowing across the top surface. Cheers!

You gotta love the look of an AirPot rootball!

20 of them down below (literally for me!)

We’re agreed - we’re vegging way taller than we have before. Skipping 3G fabric and going to 1.2m before flip.

12 of black airpots for Indy
9 of white airpots for Strawberry Molly

In about 8 days. Just ramped the veg nutes and lights from a “hold in pattern” style to max growth for a week. Half topped already today half tomorrow.

It means we need to roof rebuilt, winches in and AC and irrigation systems cleaned within the next 8 days.

Basically but a deadline on starting the next grow in the last 30 minutes.

We’ll have the first tap roots in the propagator machine for the solo grow by then. So think timings can dovetail. Gotta flip the outdoor SIP grow next week too.

Fun times - happy fathers day to one and all!

Cool picture!!! Have you figured out any use for those damn things? I just toss mine into the landscaping and break them up eventually if they ever will. Lol.

Ours break up with nothing more than a tickle. it was quite hard getting one solid enough to show the sharp edges. Its powder when they come out. But its coco PEAT the differentiation is important from Coir. Both coconuts. Different parts.

Some goes on the plants directly behind where the photo was taken from. Not sure what they are but they get the run off nutes from the flower room above them dumped on them every watering and seem to do OK.

The rest goes out to the 6’x20’ back yard. I don’t go there. I know there is a hammock and 3 giant papaya trees (the papaya come past the height of the bedroom balcony on that side)

I don’t otherwise venture there.

I only found out she had ducklings when the Labrador brought one in in her jaws (totally unharmed) last thing was frogs (for eating) with some small fish (for eating) living in some semi aquatic environment she built out of a $20 paddling pool.

I don’t go there. What she does with the used coco is her business 🤣

Wow, more detail by a mile than I expected. Thanks!

Umm - if that was more then dunno what you'll make of the video I made on the subject and put on YouTube - excuse my tired lazy English voice!

Nick
Pretty sure Teddy will can this, but until then thanks. I don’t believe we are allowed to post YouTube links, but I’m not sure if the content is related and yours. Mods will let us know.

Hey, I finally watched the video and to be honest did not know the difference between the two So thanks Nick

No that one is 100% fine - there is no click through for Over 18.

Already vetted by Teddy. 👍🏼

Previously posted.

Its grow related so no need my off topic.

Press the buttons highlighted in green and a window pops up for YouTube and Vimeo only links (but the algo spots cannabis leaves on Youtube when you upload and makes it over 18 which isn’t allowed)

This is just “soil”

Posted it before and Teddy did endeed delete all the ones with cannabis leaves that Youtube restricted.

I’d actually initiated it the chat after posting a few videos.

Its a new Youtube “feature”. I could use Vimeo but that costs me $20 a month. Might do it but a bit busy!

misc Forum just copy/paste any video (but restricted for age *I think) no need the media button.

Our OT Family thread is like that. Songs and whatever all cool from youtube. Drop by!

I used to use Vimeo. Why is 420 Mag restricting Youtube videos now? This is an age restricted site anyway.

Outdoor grow.

As was lucky enough to get some unexpected 420magazine.com swaaaag today. Stickers, fridge magnet, stickers, lighters. A T-Shirt and a mug! Which is all I ever wanted! Don’t think there was any sponsor other than @420 for that one. But is was always a mug, and only a mug I ever wanted! 😂

I won the bestest two things by pure silly luck!

“Cannabis Enthusiasts” & a 420 Coffee Mug!

“Krap khun Krup Kihn Rob and yu staff”

Or in English:

“Attention thank you person Rob and your staff”

Anyway a photo below of the awesomeness. .

But that Outdoor SIP umm its bit great looking.

So it inspired me.

I moved it earlier. Its going to get more sunlight and its now getting more sun at the slightly linger days we’re getting. The sun sets a little more to the back right of its new location. I’ve also engaged some advanced late veg training techiniwues on that lower cola.

On a more serious note(s) moving her here and killing the gorilla glue (we have a new mother off the 100’s of clones she provided)

I can shield her from light there and getting the extra sun set reds in the spectrum probably a bonus (from trying to learn about HPS and CMH lights I read this!)

So yeah flip might miss tomorrow but this week. Go the light pollution plans licked I reckon. Still the fact all fhe winter storms come in from there but deal with that when they come!
