Yes I use dark mint Lindt chocolate because of the sugar and my allergy;) just melt 2 full bars with about 1/4 cup of oil (I use 2 bars and 1/2 cup of canna coconut oil) They need to be kept cold or they melt quick! They are one of my favourite ways to eat it;)

I have a recipe to make it from scratch using cocoa powder. I thought I would try that first. It's the dosing I'm going to need to research a lot on. Haven't read it enough to understand how to dose. But it will come. I'm not even close anymore. I have the time.

You bet!!

Put it all in a double broiler type situation, I have a pot of boiling water with a metal bowl on top...melts it slowly and perfectly

funny you mention it melting fast. I "tried" making some chocolates to take on a long flight last summer and wound up licking the inside of the bag because it was a big lump of mush LOL

I have induction.... so most things are pretty easy with temperature. I'm a home foodie...I love to cook. I'm a picky eater though....so it's an oxymoron.

There is a guy on youtube that is "weed in a pot" that makes it look pretty easy. I haven't tried it yet, so...... we'll see how it goes.
