Welcome, do you have a good canna Carmel recipe? Yum!!
Sweet! Thanks2 12oz cans evaporated milk , 2 cups white corn syrup, 1 tsp kosher salt, 4 cups sugar, lol. 2 sticks butter or coconut oil (infused}. Melt sugar, butter, corn syrup,in a heavy bottomed sauce pan over medium. Bring to a boil. Add Evap. milk a bit at a time stirring/whisking constantly. Use a candy thermomenter and bring it up to 238 f. Pour in a parchment paper lined 13 by 9 pan to cool.
Yes! Swaggs and I are testing this theory now, well kinda. Peggy and his 2 WW have the same mama. His have more stems and mine are less and we have almost the same environment...the weight will decide. I’m thinking 10-12 branches in a canopy is the number I want, Peggy had 8 arms total.Nice harvest with Peggy. Nice thing about growing that way is that it appears to make the harvest trimming much quicker. Interested to see what the dry take ends up being.

Let me add that you are supposed to whisk 15 minutes per can of milk while adding super slowly a bit at a time.So a total of 30 minutes of whisking till it get's up to temp. If you have a foodie store in town they sell cellophane wraps for candy usually.2 12oz cans evaporated milk , 2 cups white corn syrup, 1 tsp kosher salt, 4 cups sugar, lol. 2 sticks butter or coconut oil (infused}.
