Bloom Room and Dank Update

Dank and Dabbie are Day 46/week 3 of flower

Dank is 30 “ from the floor and Dabbie is 26

Dank grew about 6 inches over the last few days so she and I got in a fist fight, I’m hoping I won! Also a pic of the super crop I did on her yesterday...bounced back after 6 hours, really impressed.

I forgot to take a before pic but here she is all smashed down. I’ll be making room for her in the tent just as soon as I do her next defoil after stretch! Maybe next week? Peggy will be done in a couple weeks and I’ll put both cheese in there at that point.

I’m make my goodies today!

I boiled off the rest of the water this morning in my early Peggy oil...it’s Fire, that is all! Bam!

I might grow smaller, cuter plants than the big boys but one thing I know is, my quality product is on point!

I took the day off to celebrate a successful FHO infusion.

After Infusing last nights oil/canna with all the water, I was reminded why I don’t do it that way...too much mess and tastes stronger to me??

Also there is already so much water in the plant it just got crazy in my kitchen. I’m glad I did it as I like to try anything that makes sense and the final product is still pretty killer;)

Next experiment is almond milk infusion;) this weekend maybe?

I bought some thc tincture that you spray under your tongue, he let me try it first and then I went back lol! $20 for a small vial and I can make this at home and will as soon as I get a Magic butter machine which @Asesino85 has so gladly offered to me and I’ll pick it up when we meet for camping next month! #mymainmentor
I also bought the pink pipe for 25$ such a good deal! I almost bought seeds but @SwAggNiFiCeNt helped me through the urges as they came! Lolol
I bought the cool mermaid ashtray and some stickers. I could have bout a bunch more stuff but they overprice everything and I’ll jyst order on line. The one dude had jellybombs for 20$ which I love but I can get them through WEEDS for 10$ each
 
So just for reference, I had the water oil and herb all mixed together this morning after I strained it last night.

I use a water bath this morning to get the rest of the water out...basically cook it in boiling water until you don’t see any bubbles on the top or anywhere.

A water bath helps to keep temps stable and since it’s already decarbed I don’t want it up past 200.
 
Thanks for the oil butter update, I've always just let it stay in the butter for 3hrs simmering them into the fridge to firm and remove water. If I can make it stronger by declaring first that would be so strong lol. I can't wait to try both methods!
I dont think that boiling water can't get to 240 that's 115c! Or maybe I'm losing some different heat activated THC that I can unleash with the predecarb!

Yes just to clarify it tastes stronger in a weed way;)

I have a laser thermometer and it never got above 210 so I threw the whole chabang in the oven for an hour at 240 then called it a night, and did the rest today! It’s killer stuff though and it hit me harder than I expected. I will keep doing it the way in my video, with a decarb first...for now!

Hey bud!! Thanks for stopping by:)

At every booth that was selling CBD, I asked, “this looks like all CBD, now where’s the good stuff” with a big Newty grin...they always had stuff! Most was too pricey but I got to try a few things. I put my name in to win some stuff and also found an excellent Nutrients/Root enhancer that I’m really interested in (BlueSky Organics) and it’s local in BC! Aaand I forgot I bought delicious blazed apple and hemp roasted coffee (Ole Smokes Coffee) made here in Alberta, soon to release “adult coffee” this summer;)
Oh and 2 different online canna colleges that I’m going to check out! I’m definitely taking some courses somewhere and soon!

Also a bunch of Canada’s best Licensed Producers whom I spoke with as I’m looking for my next number 2

Interesting about the tincture spray. Nice idea. I'll have to look into it.

Too bad they hiked the price on so many things. I've never been to a 420 show but sounds fun.
 
@newty, not sure if you’re a Wilco fan, but I saw them perform I Shall Be Released live in an encore once. It was fantastic. Some of my buddies are huge fans of The Last Waltz and the performance of I Shall Be Released in it. Such a great song eh?

The plants are looking great but that goes without saying. You’ve really embraced some of the higher stress stuff. I’m a little more “bend, but don’t break” - I can’t bring myself to really supercrop, even though I’ve seen how some of my more harsh bending has benefited the plants.
 
@DobeWan, I’ll check that band out, thanks! Are you talking about the OG Bob Dylan Version? I love the original as well. There is another one with Joni Mitchell, mama cass and ?? I can’t remember... Anyways it’s pretty epic if you want to google it! Love that song!

Thanks for your kindness Dobe, the plants seem to respond well at times and I seem to have the right touch for the rough but gentle approach;)

I was thinking that! This B matured fast this go around...and her early baby nugs had the high I like;)

Thanks for the second eye Dobe, I need to make room in the tent for Dank so we’re doing some rearranging tomorrow. Maybe I’ll grab her and start her tonight...does it really matter what time of day we harvest? Her bedtime is in 2 hours
 
Lookn good Newty! I can't wait to hang stuff!! That defoil I did I left in the cool and dried like your fridge, I think I'll try the fridge cure, seemed to smell very pleasing and even the popcorn stiffened up!! I'll have to read what you did there!
I always let mine sit in dark before I cut. But I don't know if theres a difference. I just read that was best.
