Newby Canuck's Indoor Bag Seed Grow

Lots of new growth
I tied down even more this morning, trying to open it up

My C99x Blueberry and Northern Light feminized seeds sprouted and I transplanted them into soil.
Then into my new nursery
I set up my old 2x2 tent for them. I am going to use 4 6500k cfls initially then switch them to two marshydros
I am also going to add a couple green pepper plants. Just because..

This is Van's quickie explanation:
The little "C" clips are used to kind of guide the top shoots out the sides more instead of letting the growth just shoot straight up. You can slide the clip out the length of the fan leaf as the shoot continues to grow.

Ahhhhh i remember seeing that explanation on vanstanks thread! I like it. Ima be dropping some beans soon so ill keep that in mind.
 
SO my Galaxyhydro arrived today
It is fantastic. Tons of red, IR, Uv, with a little blue. Rumor has it plants luvvv these lights
I am going to use my new GalaxyHydro with my 2 mars hydros as my flower lights. I think they will work will
One pic is of the light with no filters, I also took a pic through my led glasses where you can see the ratio of color well

My lil ladies(I hope) are out of control. lol
They are growing like weeds. :)

Hey there @SlightlyDistracting ya plants look great. Im growing out the c99xblueberry aswell!. Is it the fast flower version? That could be one way of telling em apart, which one finishes quicker :D

Day 30
5 days after topping

SOO I figured why not go for broke, or go broke lol and add another flower light
I have a Bestva 1000 watt led coming. Its another 8-1 red to blue with uv and IR
That and my GalaxyHydro 300 with the same red ratio will be my flower lights. For my 3x3 tent that SHOULD do the job
It will arrive in roughly 10 days. I have decided to flower these 2 at 45 days. Another 2 weeks.

On a side note, do tomatoes also need to be sent to 12 hours light to flower? lol

Tomatoes are a summer vegetable (fruit if you prefer ;)) so they'd probably like 18/6!
 
I have been thinking.
Because these were bag seeds and not feminized, and I really dont know what these are Iam thinking about starting to flower sooner rather than later?
I was going to feed them one more time tonight at my veg strengths then sunday switch them over
If I knew they were feminized and what they were Id be willing to invest more time, but this way it clears out room a bit sooner. In canada I am only allowed 4 plants, and want to get a couple other beans going
WHat are your thoughts?

That would be a pretty late clone in full flower. It's possible but probably a better idea to reveg by just taking the buds and leaving the foliage on it. Then change the lights back to 18/6 or 20/4 and start over with the existing root structure already in place! If you want to clone, why wait until harvest day anyway?

On your earlier question, I would wait until they get bigger to flip. Plants will show their sex eventually (some early, some late) so grow them out until you see what's up. That will give you time to get them to a better size for the females to produce some nice buds.
 
I would have to wait that long because I have a limit of 4 plants
I have 4 already. If I take a clone anytime before harvest it would leave me with 5 plants.

If I have more time should I top again?
 
It's not a clone until it roots! That can take a few weeks ;).

Those are pretty bushy as it is. I would start by training them out so you can see some separation between the new tops. Once they get growing then you can revisit topping again!
