Newby Canuck's Indoor Bag Seed Grow

So you're going to top 3 and leave one alone? Either way, when you mix and match training styles your difficulty will be in the size of your tent. With a 2x2 tent you don't have room to spread any plants out without blocking the light to the others. Anything you tie down is shadowing another plant. That is why I recommended the quadline, which is usually only grown as wide as the pot itself.

Also, having the CFLs hanging below your LED looks like it is creating shadows on your plants so I'm not sure you're gaining anything by having those 4-way fixtures blocking your Mars.

The two I transplanted in coco didnt do very well. Something was off.
I only have 2 left, and oops too late, just finished transplanting them. When I took them from the pots there were a LOTTT of roots, all the way around the outside.
The cfls are kind of ahead of the mars. Its tough to see put they arent really in the way

Hmm
I know the mars hydro is an underpowered entry level light.
I kind of figured it would be underpowered all alone
I do rotate my plants couple times a day to avoid shadows. I thought adding the cfls would help

I think moving the cfls to the side or corner was a good call. Let that LED hit them straight down, that’s where the main par /umol is.

Height is important too. I get my LEDs down go around 12-16 inches, depending on which one. My Dwarf Star needs around 14, my Fusion Pro down to 10-12”. But I always start high and move them down over time, or just let them grow into it a bit.
