My northern lights is crazzy. I count 21 bud sites at canopy level. If things keep up she is going to be a huge producer.

From what I can tell my 2 will be harvested in between 15 -21 days
Trichomes are still clear. Thats good. Means my buds will get bigger lol

Don't bother try to predict harvest times. As the pistils start to fade just keep track of the trichomes on the calyxes, they tell you when to chop. The calendar is meaningless!

One Blue Treacle auto of mine went 84 days, the one I started about three weeks later went 100 .

So if i want to give a 10 to 12 day flush how do i know when to start? My schedule puts me down to stop ripening and flush next tues. Too early?

Gak! Please don't flush your plants! Many of our top growers have given up the practice.

The buds don't use nutes so they can't be storing them so you can't flush them. The buds just use the sugars produced by the rest of the plant, and the rest of the plant is what uses the nutes.

Feed until chop. Why starve the plant just when you want it to swell the mostest? Curing is key to taste.

Wont hurt my feelings. Ill split the difference and chop them after drying out from a heavy watering. Best of both worlds. Lol

I'm here to pass along the best information I have to others on the site! To help improve the grows of the growers I talk to when I can. I can't make you take my advice, but I do like to make sure you understand the difference between myth and science.

Well if science was always right these ladies should not look like they do. The amount of stress and damage i caused to them since cracking goes against everything a botanist would teach you. Lol. I truly appreciate all feedback and advice. But this being my first grow, one thing I have learned is EVERYBODY has their own right way.

Says the guy who thought the CFLs under his Mars was the way to go! I think you have taken advice along the way so I'm surprised you're not interested now. Especially about something as entrenched in myth as flushing.

But if you're not interested in the science behind growing cannabis that's cool. Feel free to try any and all methods that suit your fancy. I'm not forcing you to do anything, but I'd love to see hear the reason that flushing works from the plant's standpoint.

Omg. All i said was i would harvest after a watering lol. Ive been rotating feed and water since they were seedlings. I think from this point forward im going to keep my grow private. Thanks again. This journal is over!

Come on SD! I didn't mean to ridicule you and I'm sorry I offended you. Stick around the site and continue with your grow on 420. I'm not everyone here. I'm just me. And sometimes I come across rougher than I should. I sincerely apologize for that.
