I may order a 1000 dimmable ballast.
If i run a 1000 ballast dimmed to 600, i stll use 1000watt hps right? I dont need to switch bulbs to dim??

No idea but I'm guessing it uses fewer watts when it's dimmed.

I bought a gavita 1000watt dimmable and am running at 750

Im getting 45,000 to 60,000 now

There are like 8 or 10 colas with buds that are easily a 1/4oz already

all looking good there with the light now. for heat it jas to be cool tubes for me. i acrub so much heat away with them and can deal with the slight light loss from glass. they can run very close and have used fan across gap to get as close as 8 inches but the lithe intensity then becomes an issue ,lol
difficult to see how you can use a similar idea as the shape of the gravitas. all looks ok if heat dealt with now though.

Im going to pick up a siverstar hps hood reflector tomorrow.
Should run a bittt cooler and have a better footprint
I found a used 6inch inline fan to supplement the one I have already, and the hood, for a $100 canadian
smokin good deal.
