New ViparSpectra Lights Powering Self Watered SIP Run

Stone, arthritis is what made me go to a whole foods plant based diet. I lost 75 pounds, it's been gone for 3 years now, so it's not a yoyo fad diet thing, but more importantly all my arthritis, which was in my hands arms feet and knees, as well as my lower back, plus the exzema I had since childhood, is all completely gone.

My eye doctor freaked out because my eyeglass prescription went backwards 2 notches. I barely use glasses now. And I haven't taken a blue pill for 3 years 😎.

My BP is poster child perfect and my blood sugar levels are better than my BP.

I don't like to talk diets as its contentious with a lot of people, but if you want a lifeline, google "Forks Over Knives". It's a great place with real medical knowledge of what food does to you. It's a good starting point. It is also loaded with recipes. Hundreds, if not thousands. Mrs Gee is in there all the time.

I decided to science food and nutrition. Thats a rabbit hole I tell ya.

I'm about to turn 60 and I have no medications. I'm not pushing this on you, but it's worth a gander if your joints are all swollen and sore, and if you have a belly creeping in.

It's amazing how similar humans and plants are on a cellular level. We run on Calmag too. Who knew!

Getting enough available calcium into us is as vital as it is to plants. Without it, you will get deficiencies.
Eczema sucks especially when you have it with psoriasis. Itches like crazy and then it burns 🥵 like fire 🔥 while you shed skin particles everywhere. If I tried I couldn’t come up with something so evil 👿. CL🍀. :thumb: :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hi everyone, once a year it's time for a sandwich that can only be made on this day!
The Otter Deluxe:
A thin layer of mashed taters, gelatinous gravy, stuffing, turkey, sweet potato, cranberry sauce, and mayo on bread! If I only toasted the bread! Mmmmm! Unhinge my jaw and in it goes! Cold! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Very nice!!

My girl wanted to make her fried chicken and of course I had to go get it. I came back with an 8lb, $37 capone chicken. No idea what it was until we googled it, but man was it delicious

Capone Chicken 🍗? Sounds like a Chicago Outfit inspired dish. lol 😂 CL🍀

I googled it and it’s not a Capone chicken 🍗 but Capon chicken 🍗. CL🍀🤣
I used to eat lunch at an Italian restaurant on the 400 Block of State Street in Chicago. I liked their chicken parmigiana. I'm eating my chicken when gunfire broke out in the street in front of the restaurant. A woman had unloaded a pistol into the groin of an unfaithful lover. As that action happened a dozen or so really big guys spring up and cock their pistols, apparently to protect da boss. My art director friend told me that is exactly what happened. Closest I've ever gotten to "Capone Chicken."

Typical day in the City by the Lake. lol But you have to admit that we have some really great restaurants here and we have the best fast food 🥘 there is. Chicago style hot 🥵 dogs, Chicago Deep Dish n Tavern style pizza and the best Italian beef sandwich known to mankind. Making me hungry just thinking about it. CL🍀 Edit: Chicago has 23 Michellen stared restaurants.

Yes. I worked there back in the early 80s when the Bears were really good and white victim outlines on the sidewalks were common.

Oh, I know. One of my neighbors, Chef Jean Joho, owns four of those Michellen starred restaurants. I met him through a client. He has a weekend retreat up here.

As I have mentioned before CL, you are welcome to come here and visit. It's really nice up here.

On the other hand, I love hopping on I-94 for a weekend in Chicago.

Cheeseboyger Cheeseboyger no Pepsi, Coke? Lmao 😂 You know the story behind the billy goat restaurant? You ever had a Al’s Italian beef sandwich? I don’t remember where but my Mother’s bestie had a cabin up there that we used to go to on weekends when I was a kid. CL🍀

Yes, an Art Director buddy introduced them to me.

There are a lot of vacation getaways here. As a retiree, I am on permanent vacation. And live in a permanent getaway. Sometimes I will head out on the highway looking for adventure. I have yet, however, exploded in space.

Yes the Cubs and as a lifelong fan thank the heavens it’s over. I cried watching but I also cried when #34 of the Bears died. I wanted to cry when the Sox didn’t resign Liam Hendricks. I take my team’s seriously. lol 😆 CL🍀

Hey Mr Oh! Oh! Oh!

That sanga looks delish! I love sweet and savoury together.

I have a crockery question. Do Americans eat off disposable plates? I’ve seen food served from the United States a few times here and on farcebook and it’s always n a disposable plate. Got me wondering.

No, we use dishes and silverware disposable plates are made for pick nicks and outdoor summer grilling. I suppose some people use disposable plates daily but not in my household. To each their own but we are not lazy, and wash are dishes every day.

Us too. In regards to the way we do dishes.

BBQ = paper plates.

I just wondered because so many of the American videos/food pics I see are served on paper plates.

I'd say both I guess. i had some knife work and used a paper plate for that so I wouldn't have to wash the cutting board. I don't use a sharp blade on a glass or ceramic surface. So I used that plate for it. We usually eat from ceramic plates but rules are made to be broken!
