Brother it's hit or miss with rosen taste! I never know really. This one is kind of grassy in a vape and pipe so I wanted to see what happens in rosen form. It's like the Holy Grail man! An uplifting unique flavor that I'm stuck on in a big way!

SO I MADE SOME CBD OIL UPDATE
High folks
my stash of cbd oil went low so I made a new batch. Since my main focus is for it to help me with inflammation and I found some information that leads me to say cbda is what I want. Cbda is what I have before decarboxylation happens so I'll leave decarb out of the process this time. It should work even better! For your information I went off all nsaids a couple of months ago and now rely on cbd for my anti inflammation med. It's working @ 90 mg/day.
Here's how it went. First I tried to fit 90 grams into 2 cups of olive oil and found it too dry!

Too dry
I added the 3rd cup of evoo and ran the Magical Butter Machine at low temp, 130F for 2 runs of 8 hours.
That left it all oil on top and sludge on the bottom. I poured the oil off the top and didn't worry about the rest. Some oil got past me but that's ok, the extra work isn't something I'm up to today.
After the filtering throught the mbm filter it went right into jars.
And as usual I waited until the last minute, I took the last 3 caps from the last batch and filled the jar again. I remembered the Liquid Soy Lecithin this time! 1 tbsp/cup.
That ought to keep me for a while! I hope you're having a smooth and wonderful day! A few puffs on a Black Poisonberry bone has me all chill. Has a spice flavor like a strawberry cough. YUM! Toodles

Congrats on another great round of oil making! I'm looking forward to hearing how the CBDa does compared to the CBD version. Might be a few weeks though for your body to make the transition, since I recall it can take at least 2 weeks for the full anti-inflammatory effects of CBD to kick in.
For the record, 90g in 709.77ml of oil should get you close to 16mg/ml of CBDa, though it will probably be a bit lower due to the moisture content of the flowers making them weigh more than the decarbed version.

I used 56 grams to 2 cups oil, 160 degrees for 8 hrs then again on the next day. Worked great! Yeah, it will ge good to know how CBDa works. Hunkering down here waiting on the unpleasantness! Happy Smokin'

Sorry I missed the end of your grows, Stone but huge congrats on the healthy yields.
Personally, I don't like vaping. It has never gotten me high the way a joint will. It might taste better but if it doesn't get me high then what's the point?

@TopGreen Technology sent me a STARRY 4 to try, and to talk about! A beautifully made smallish vape designed mostly for flower however it will vape rosen and other more liquid delights!
TopGreen Technology STARRY 4 came packaged all in a fancy box containing everything I needed to get going!
The STARRY 4 is a very solidly built tool actually. The adapter to bong is no exception! The magnets are strong, and fit and finish is top notch! We really liked the finish on the STARRY 4! It's one of the new stainless finishes that leave no prints! There's a more tactile sleeve that my old fingers like so we use the sleeve. It's a nice relaxing feel. Same thing with the straw sleeve. We thought it may be schmaltzy to cover a nicely coated mouthpiece, but we were wrong! the sleeve for that keeps the hits cooler somehow! Very nice XMAX! I didn't see that coming!
So what I especially like is the short smoke path it has! That leaves little to gak up internally and in my opinion flavor is kept at a maximum this way! This vape is my tastiest in the house today! That short path along with easy cleaning make my day! After all, the weed is Queen and her flavors should be enjoyed to the MAX!
It's that short smoke path! here it is! There's a smoke cooling diffuser inside it and the mouthpiece fits onto the round part. Genius engineering!
3 taps on the power button fires it up and down and there's arrow buttons for temperature control which, by the way works fast and flawlessly! It's up to temp in seconds!
They say not to pack tightly. I tried all sorts of pack tightnesses and didn't find much difference. The bowl is smallish but plenty for two to share and finish, or I, a hungo, easily finish a bowl myself. When inspecting the Already Been Vaped in the oven i always find it well cooked, unlike some other vapes in my collection!
An airflow device is available. it seems to choke off outside air from the oven. I prefer it wide open.
The battery and charging system is up to todays standards! usb-c and an 18650 battery system! I especially like that! I have other 18650 batteries in house. I can swap them in and out in a pinch!
This vape is a solid buy and I'm enjoying it very much! I told the rep when I first contacted XMAX I was looking for a vape that had cool to our throat vape and it is! My other vapes are twice and three times the cost of this STARRY 4! I see it on line way under $100.00 and it performs as good or better than both of them!

That's next for me too! I like to have some thc caps in the fridge. They sit there for weeks untouched but once I get my thc cap want on, they're nice to have!
Thanks HashGirl! Vaping to me is different and not necessarily better other than maybe for our lungs. That's the only reason I do it. A joint now! That's the way to serve this up!
I get as high as I want I guess Carmen. All things real, weed is never the same after the first times ingested in my opinion. I have to allow for that. Accepting that I feel high as f#*& on 3 hits of anything in the house, though I can smoke half a large cone when in the mood, either for fun or medicine. Rare occasions. I've been at this for a couple of months so cbd's built up by now. Cbda now is the change I'll be feeling for.

Iām curious to know more about this oil batch you just made. You say no decarb? And this is better for inflammation? Iām curious because I make cbd oil for a family dog - arthritis, and Iām wondering if I should try this method out too?

Be aware, if you're not already, that CBD-a is said to be much better absorbed by the body (something like 10-20x better or more
) so go easy to start.CBD itself is often recommended by docs to be consumed at much higher levels than THC. The doc in the CBD video I've posted before says his recommended therapeutic dose for his patients is often in the 60-120mg per day.
