New Moon Over Guawi: A High Brix Journey

Have you decided which one is which yet? If not, in the pic above the one on the left looks like the Guawi to me.

Nailed it :goodjob:

That is the pot I originally labeled as the GUAWI so I am getting more confident thats her, especially Now
that you placed your bet i am more convinced ;) Thanks for the help

BTW She (guawi) will be getting her 2nd Growth Energy/Iconic this evening at Lights ON and then
just H2O until up-pot with TP

Need to start thinking about the RECHARGE Timing and plan the scheduling so I dont get caught off-guard ;)
Its PRE CAT's right ? I need to check and see what I did last time:reading420magazine:

Looking great Gazoo! Looks like Godzilla is about to eat some MP man meat.
I was going to say the same thing. lol

Ball Park Frank, I hear its a big lizard favorite

What do lizards eat?
Lizards mostly eat insects, but some will scavenge carcasses of larger animals

I would do the recharge when you give the CAT so that will probably be in the 4th week. I'm not sure how long she is supposed to flower but if it is over 12 weeks you may want to give her some 3rd run amendment at week 8-9.

Cool Thanks

Do you think using 2nd run soil that has had 2 recharges (while in 1st run) already will be of concern ?
Like the 3rd run amendment suggestion :thanks:

EDIT : Just checked 11 - 12 week estimate flower but will have been in the finish pots 2 weeks before switch
so maybe

This is what my everyday user note log looks like, See I'm not really as anal as you thought :p

Do you mean it's had 2 recharges because it's 2nd run soil or you mistakenly added a 2nd recharge? If it's a 12 week strain then you'll be ok and don't need to add the 3rd run amendment.

Thanks, my bad, seems I'm not being clear again ;)

The soil I will be up-potting to IS 2nd RUN But when I ran that soil in 1st run I had done a second
re-charge later in flower as I was expecting a long flower which did not happen.

Thanks again I think I will forgo the 3rd run amendment, does not sound like I will need it and I dont
want to over do the load and create some HOT 3rd run stuff. Thanks for your input its very helpfull

Something I was just reading and figured I can include in my NOTES

InfraRed temp Sensors can be used to Test Temp stress. The more elevated the foliage temperature is above ambient air temperature, the more stress the plant is exhibiting.

I think I will start logging these numbers as well. What the heck seems using the kit I need to find ways to
keep myself involved ;)

Did the H20 Dunk on the GDP. She will probably be getting 2 more H20 Dunks before Up-pot to the 10g

While doing the daily LST on the Guawi I took fresh leaf and noticed it was dripping from the cut,
I Dunked her 18 hrs ago, anyway since it was so wet I decided to see what the BRIX was
ONLY 9 :( Not sure if thats Good or Bad for a plant at this stage but will do this on occasion to
see if it gets better/worse/same. Read 12 and above is were we want to be ?

Thanks, this being my 3rd DBHB grow I am starting to understand a little more

TP = Roots
GE = Leafs

And the realization that
alternating the processes keeps the whole thing in sync by not allowing one side to overwork the other.

EDIT: After reading dajerm119 response about Duggs not using the GI In early VEG and thinking about
it for awhile, I have come to the conclusion its possible to get away with just TP in Veg since its really
about having a good root system to support the GI growth it makes sense

Roots 1st then the Leaf development, This works by NOT allowing one to get ahead of the other.
They also need a rest between h2o

If i see issues it probably the ROOTS, which BTW seems to be the go to fix "RESCUE DRENCH"
and I don't think its easy to over due it except with the foliars.

So far the 2ml per gal of soil looks very good (not the recommended measuring process)

PLUS

The kit takes care of it all which gives me ALL The time in the world to Work on environment,
The key to it all. :)

Thanks again its hard to keep posting when there is nothing really to report ;)
but did get my new 330lb postal scale that reads in Oz, does NOT AUTO-OFF and
has the corded display, This will go very nice under my 10G pots and I can still watch
the drying weight :)

I agree with KB, very healthy ladies Gazoo. Love the color, and seems you’re keeping them happy in those 1 gallon pots. You are doing a really great job with the kit, loving your work!

Thanks Bud

I am a bit impressed myself NOT a single purple stem and the only leafs I have needed to remove
are simply to open up the top.

The real test will be the ROOTS when up-potting

I am hoping these POTs will be the ticket and if so I think I have found the
perfect grow medium
along with the
perfect starter pots
and looking like
A very Good light system
