Happy 420 B A R!

HAPPY 420 DAY EVERYONE!

I played hooky today because it's a National Holiday for every smoker in my book. Spent the whole morning playing in the tents; rearranging, cleaning, taking pics, & of course getting my smoke on.

BG: Backatcha...

Scarfinger: Welcome aboard. We get anywhere from 1 to 3/4 of an OZ per plant. Right now we're trying a few things to up our yields in these 2lts; longer veg time, different mediums, and other ways of training. You should post a pic here to show us your 20oz pot plants.

Woody:
You have my brain gears shifting now. If we were to grow nothing but single colas in these 2lt Soda Pop Pots it may increase our overall yield in these little tents. Thanxx for the idea, I'll be giving it some thought.

Sue: Now we Know; Lamb's Quarters is not only a soil cleansing plant but a good source of phosphorous as well. Thanxx.

Cronic, Indo, Chimp, Jaga, & Big Budha: Backatcha.

Magic: That I am indeed!

Carestaker:
I'm well past 2 already :lot-o-toke:

QUICK UPDATE

PINEAPPLE CHUNK
(Feminized) Day 68 / Day 34 under 12/12

She's making a comeback! After all the nonsense she put us through this plant may prove to be a winner. Most of those mal-nutritional looking leaves have fallen off, buds are frosty, and she prays to the Spider 9 lamp every morning.

BAG SEED (Formally Triple Bag Seed) Day 71 / Day 47 under 12/12

This is the pot we had 3 bagseeds growing in. Unfortunately 2 were male & were discarded but the one female is striving.

CLONE OF A CLONE
(In Perlite) Day 100 / Day 57 under 12/12

This is the plant I didn't realize we were adjusting her PH levels too high during feeding. Since bringing it down from 6.5 to 5.8 the results speak for themselves. Imagine how big she'd be if I'd been feeding her correctly all along.

LEMON KUSH (In unsealed SIP with a Micro-scrog) Day 82 / Day 11 under 12/12

Like I told Skunny, she should be blooming by 420 and she's showing pistils today. Only a few but nonetheless, pistils. Out of the 25 bud slots 23 of them have a bud site protruding.

BAG SEED with Lamb's Quarters
(in SIP; Sub Irrigation Planter) Day 81 / Day 61 under 12/12

Six days ago we chopped the upper portion of this plant & I've smoked it so there won't be a dry weight to report. This morning I took about 4 buds from the bottom & quick dried them to see if they're as good as the top and they were. The rest I threw back into re-veg. I also chopped the Lambs Quarters and spread all their seeds over the plants in the Veg Tent.

My very first couple bag weed grows were in 20 oz. pop bottles. I can't find any pictures.

I then upgraded to these 24 oz. cups which are similar to pop bottles.

Average was 9.8 grams per plant for Snow White and Northern Lights strain.

Not bad at all for such small containers Scarfinger. B. Real runs with similar size pots and grows from start to finish under 12/12 with about the same results weight wise. Is your growing space also restricted or were you just testing the waters with small containers? I've found that with these small tents using 2lt pots our overall yield is greater than it was when I was running 5gal pots.

Before each plant had much better weight but I was only able to have 4 or 5 plants blooming at once. Now we keep anywhere between 9 & 14 plants in the Bloom Tent perpetually and can keep up to 20 plants in the Veg Tent at a time. We use to do complete Photo Shoots featuring each plant but nowadays that's out of the question! It would take a whole weekend to do a proper Shoot.

Also always having different strains on hand isn't bad either. ;):tokin::grinjoint::yummy::ganjamon::rollit:

Basically a 2x2x3 space for me. I can get up to 13 grams dry from the 24 oz cups with ICE strain. I pulled 40 grams from a 1 gal container also with Snow White strain.

I kind of like the 1 gal pots only because its 4 pots vs 10 smaller ones. A little less management.

Question about "Perpetual"

Are u cutting the main cola, re-vegetating the flowered plant, and then flowering it again later? If so how many times can you do this?

Or is Perpetual meaning, just having clones ready to go as soon as you harvest?

Thanks

Perpetual is what I like to call a "Never Ending Harvest". In order to do a Perpetual Grow you need two separate grow areas; a veg area (we have a 1 1/2 X 3 Veg Tent) and a flowering area (our 1 1/2 X 3 Bloom Tent). In your veg area you're always starting something be it seeds, clones, or re-veggies. In your flowering area you want to be chopping plants with as less intervals between as possible or reasonable for you. An ideal PG would be say "Chopping a plant every three or four days" and this would go on until you decide to stop perpetuating. For every plant you chop you move another plant from your veg area into your flowering area & the cycle continues.

As far as re-vegging goes for me it's like child's play. I was walked through it on my first plant by an older member here by the name of DonPaul P and until not to long ago it was my only guaranteed way of starting a plant. I have a 100% rate at re-vegging & as of late with the combined techniques of Dennise & Skunny I'm germinating seeds at a 100% rate. When I re-veg I don't leave anything on the plant but a few bottom popcorn buds; everything else is cured or tossed into the trim bin.
The most I have re-vegged a plant is 3 times but feel it can be done indefinitely. The only reason I haven't did it more is because the Veg Tent is already full when a plant is done.

CLONE OF A CLONE
(In Perlite) Day 101 / Day 58 under 12/12

After taking a good look at the trichs with the jeweler's loupe I decided to go ahead and chop her. Eventhough she looks immature it was 50/50 cloudy/amber. There's only a few buds but since we've gotten this soiless PH issue thing straightened out she should perform in re-veg.
