New City Grower 2.0

Yeap, & I swear by it now...

subbed

Reg, a seed has enough energy stored to bring that seedling into it's first set of true leaves. The plant will then need a bit of nitrogen, so I always use seaweed with N in it as the first fertilizer. It is very mild, has a lot of stimulating growth hormones and is just my favorite fertilizer. A seedling can be transplanted to its container also once the first set of true leaves appears.

The buds look great. You and BG are going a wonderful job. Have a great weekend.

:thankyou: Jimbo & no need to welcome you aboard Sky as I know you were already subbed and probably got unsubbed by accident like I do on a lot of occasions.

So I'll wait for the first set of true leafs before we plant any Rockwool cube seedlings Brooklyn unless anyone gives us a reason why that wouldn't be such a great idea. I'm waiting to hear from someone who germinates in rockwool though.
You & Mark enjoy your weekend too.

My thought is you don't wait until you have air roots. They will take several days to establish root hairs once you put the rockwool in the soil. Am I explaining that well? Personally, I think you are doing a fine job however you are doing it.

I am going right now to post harvest photos, but they are not great. I'll post dry weights as I didn't write down all the wet weights of the buds. It is definitely the gooiest I've grown yet. I think outside you get more, but I really prefer growing inside.

I also think I'll be able to participate in the BID Memorial Grow in Jan.

I can not be exact on day's and what not but my experience with germinating in RW is that I seem to get wicked stretch early in the first week or so.Here are a few pic's.

Here is a link to a post of another bean I did in RW.

and in this post is if you scroll down, you will see a shot of a Chocolate fondu that was germinated in RW.
The first 2 pic's are of her first few day's and then you will see a few pic's down were she was transplanted and how much she had stretched.

:thankyou: all.

These two Palm tree looking plants had a rough time getting started. We had to remove the lower fan leaves early on but now they're doing much better.

BAR still stands for BrokeAssReg.

I'm loving the update Reg, I can see you are really enjoying those rockwool cubes! Quick inquiry: I'm assuming your Royal Medics are from RQS; how is your experience with the amount nutrient to feed during vegetative growth? Is your pheno very sensitive?

I know you still can't be growing outdoors in this weather Reg, its 50 degrees out :laughtwo:

Good morning weed BAR. Looking good for a BrokeAssReg. :cheesygrinsmiley: Always healthy. Happy Skunkday :yummy::rollit::passitleft:
