New aussie Auto grower, looking for some advice

That is just magnificent, so gorgeous!!! What a little piece of heaven
Yeah that’s my back yard.
Makes it worthwhile cutting all that grass:rofl:
Fishing swimming tubing or just cooling off with the dogs, I’m very fortunate.

That is one amazing backyard, you are very lucky to be able to wake up to that every morning.
Sounds like it's made for you man.
You're a great person and you really deserve it.

You're welcome my friend!
I'm sure you must have.
Wow, nature sure is beautiful, can never have too many pot plants though :Namaste:

Just another little update, did some testing on my tap water tonight.
Ph: 7.8-8.0 which is not too bad, a little ph down will fix that.
TDS: 68-70 quite low which is great
My soil I believe is also around 6.8-7.0 so after a few feeds of a lower pH water, should bring it down a little as well

That’s a good set of numbers to start with.
You shouldn’t have any problems with that water.
When is the show starting?
Do I have time to refill my popcorn?
Hope your doing well Amigo :thumb:

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so buddy!
Very soon my friend, very soon indeed.
I'd say you have just enough time to run down to the store and grab a bag with some extra butter 😂🤣

I'm okay, how are you travelling?

Well shit, that sucks!
Hope they don't butcher you too much amigo.
You'll be back to eating popcorn in no time 😁

Yeah, you know what I got going on behind the scenes amigo.
It would be an amazing experience to go to the F1s!
Surfing sounds fun, didn't know you was into it! Never had a go personally, but I'd love to try it someday, suppose there's no shortage of good beaches in Australia, I don't really have an excuse not to :snowboating:
Surfing is the most fun you can have with your shorts still on. Used to do it many years ago. Oh and surfing is for people with out a job.

Hey guys and gals, just dropping a little update to the guerilla grow pre show!

Side note: I really shouldn't shop online at 1:30am but anyways, just spent around another $200 on my upcoming grow, I think it's now cost me around $750 total!
Anyways, I bought some ph up and down, green planet roots builder (as if I didn't have enough different nutes already), another stick of myco, a bag of bokashi (last ingredient i needed for the @Bill284 method) and a bag of premix coco/perlite because I'm gonna do an extra plant in a coco grow just to see how I go!

I reckon we're about T minus 14 days till germination, I'm kinda glad everything's taken a bit longer as the weather has been horrendous here lately, my girls would've got smashed in it had I planted already!
Thanks for sticking with me guys, I promise you an exciting show, it'll be worth the extra wait.
Stay tuned folks 😎 😉

I wondered why you were so quiet.
Stop shopping in line
It’ll drain your back account faster than you can replace it. ;)
I understand though, preparation is key.
Don’t worry we will wait patiently for the show to start :thumb:
Hope your doing well Amigo.
Talk soon.

Hey brother,
I'm so eager to get started, you have no idea. Well you probably do actually, but patience is key! At least now I should have enough of everything for 3 or 4 journals!

Appreciate your patience and understanding :Namaste:

Quick question, I know with soil it's water, dry, feed, dry, water etc etc.
Now that I'm going to be doing a least one maybe 2 plants in coco as extras, should I follow the same principle, or just smash with nutrients everyday or every other day. I'm thinking the 2nd option, but I've never done a coco grow before 🤔

Oh man that is expensive 😳 my water bill last month was 600$ haha 😄 I need some rain berrals...
Haha I know stark, I know. I just want my girls to have the best crack at their short lives! That's a crazy water bill man, rain barrels are a good idea 💡 especially with the weather we've got atm 🙄

Coco is fairly simple.
Put calmag in your plain water first every time.
Mix it well before adding nutrients in order.
Seaweed or biologicals last.
Then set your ph to 5.8 exactly every time.
Lastly feed every day to runoff. Full strength nutrients every day to runoff at 5.8 , never any plain water.
Never let your coco get dry.
It’s a hydroponic grow so never give water.
The only thing she eats is what you give.
So avoid the garden hose.
I guarantee your coco girls will be bigger and better than your soil girls.
Be prepared to get rid of soil your second grow. ;)
Coco @Bill284 Method for the win. :thumb:
Thanks Brother. :passitleft:

Alright sweet, that's really straightforward man, thanks for setting me straight on that.
Only other question I have now is the plant guard (potassium silicate) says to go in before anything else no exceptions. So should I follow that and then go Calmag or vice versa?
I actually believe the coco girls will be bigger and better also, it's just that I've always grown in soil, so it's like a safety net. But yeah if I get the hang of the coco, definitely strict coco in the future!
Fell in love with the @Bill284 method at first sight!!

The water and power is more expensive in the summer because of the high demand it's just ridiculous how much it is.
