hi sticky...yes it is providing the pot is FULL and you start bloom shortly after transplanting into the 7.

Ya sticky ...ya'l know how i like big pots, so like Neiko just said..if ya have a 10 or 15 i would use it! 14-15 weeks is a long time to bloom in a lil ol pot.:) Cheers eh!:high-five:

We transplanted ours into a 15, topped a 2nd time, and flipped. She was 12" tall at the time...hope you have the head room lol. We have 2 lights at an angle above her since we don't have the room for a single one straight over top. When you get it going let us know, I would love to follow along.

hey nis i don't have that much room so will probably have to top or even super crop to keep it under control i sure as hell can't grow one of those panama haze like yours lol i really don't no what to expect it's a 100% sativa I'm not real sure how to go about it because these are reg beans so i need to start 3 of them and pick a female but the breeder says veg for 1-3 weeks I'm not doing 3 15s i was going to start them in 1 gal. until sex shows?

You only have 5.5 -6 feet up top ,...and your growing a 100% Sativa....Have fun bud! Check out my Desfran journal...that's what ya got to look forward to. A major PITA keeping them under control! If i were you i wouldn't let her get too big before ya flip her......just sayin OK!:high-five:

Start them at 11/13 from seed and when they show sex, take a clone. That clone will be where a plant from seed would be at 2 weeks. Let her grab that 15 gallon for a few days and then flip. Then train train and train some more to keep it short. :thumb:
 
What Nis said...i like the part about letting her "grab" the 15 gal's for a while....smells like trouble ,..to me..LMAO. Fuggin (Zigg's word) Sativa's ..LMAO!:rofl:

hey duggan i did a quick run through you journal and i can see this is going to be a learning experience for me i have a little experience at tying branches up and the like and will only have 1 of them to deal with i have the standard ceiling 8 ft. but the pot is 12in tall and the lights are 1-1.5 from the ceiling thats about what i have I'm going to try it and see what happens i'll crop it keep it a bush lol btw those were some fat buds sorry about the mold and the desfran seems like everytime i do a grow there's at least one that i don't want to smoke I'm on that hunt to find the ones i like thanks for your input ill let you no how it goes won't be until november december!:thanks:

That is completely strain dependent. I've had 12" sativas turn into 7' monsters. Check out Nis's Panama Haze. That was topped twice and flipped at 12" and it's probably exceeded 7' now. I think the best thing to do with a long flowering sativa would be to flower from seed if you know she's going to be a big one.
