I'm actually looking at getting a balanced ratio CBD strain. It's indica leaning though, so I'll need a balanced ratio sativa leaning one as well.

Terpinolene is the main terpene in the purple pheno of Malawi I've been running. I can see where that could elevate mood, beyond the staggering high from. It's the best tasting cannabis I've smoked. If Jack Herer tastes similar that should be might fine indeed.

Trying to find a good balanced thc/cbd plant can be a chore. You need to grow a whole pack out then test to see what you really have. I am very fortunate to have traded for a pure cbd cannatonic. I put it in a 3 gallon for the final veg and will flip in a couple months. Now I can make custom ratios without guessing. Previous tests in non HB were about 16% cbd and .8% thc. So far she is a very pretty plant and I am really excited for it. Sue is right when she says some cbd will change the high, in some cases it really super charges the buzz.
 
Just a quick little story. My sister in law loves my cannabis infused lotion. My brother and her were camping down in KY for the week and some friends of theirs that were with them, one had chronic pain from an ankle injury 15 years ago. She said docs were unable to help her and she has been suffering for 15 damn years. She tried the lotion and was pain free in 15 minutes. She said this is the 1st time she has been pain free since the injury. She was able to hike and had no issues all week. She literally cried she was so happy. And to think the Government still wants to put people in jail for this plant. The cream is excellent on burns too. I had 2nd degree burns a while back and in agony. As a last resort I tried the cream (not supposed to put anything greasy on a burn) and was pain free within 5 minutes. I had horrible blisters but no pain and no scarring. My doc was amazed, she knows what I do and usually has lots of questions for me when I see her.
 
hey seiko sounds like you have the rite recipe for that cream it's nice when you can make something that helps people have a better day,and to have a medical doctor even acknowledge anything about cannibus they don't generally want have anything to do with that subject!

I hear stories like this all the time. There'll come a day, in the not-too-distant future, when nurses in burn units will raise their voices in unison and demand cannabis-infused topicals. What they do for burns is nothing short of miraculous. I learned yesterday that unbeknownst to many patients, the nurses in the UK use cannabis topicals in hospitals. Our nursing community can't be that far behind.

What our governments do with their prohibitionary mindsets boarders on criminal, if not already there. To perpetuate all of this suffering to protect the pocketbooks of men with pockets already so deep as to be abhorrent is beyond the pale. It's citizens like us who will push it to the forefront so incessantly that it can't stay the way it is much longer.
 
Neiko man, good to see you are out here doing well. I have been absent, but you and the missus have crossed my mind since I have been gone. I hope she is doing well. Sounds like you may need to let us in on that lotion recipe!

Newb it's good to see ya pop in. The missus is doing good, looking forward to the next vacation. The lotion has been a godsend. Just go to magicalbutter.com and look at the coco butter lotion. That's the one I follow using infused coconut oil.

I just so happen to have one of those MB machines which I thought was going to be useless, now I find it may be revived after all. Awesome. My missus has issues with knees and hips, so I have to whip up some of this lotion and see if it can give her some relief. Glad to hear your lady is good as well. We can't wait for vacation either, but it will be next year. I will be popping in more regularly, checking out the goodness around here, always learning!

The one Jamaican I jarred yesterday has a strong bakery smell. It is very sweet smelling with some citrus. It is way more potent than the weed the seeds came from. This next one doesn't have the smell of the 1st one yet. It's more subdued but looks like it will yield better.

The strawberry fields is a tangie leaning pheno and boy does she reek of citrus. Kinda like a cleaner of some sort. The Lemon Thai Kush smells like sugary lemons, it's a very pleasant smell. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming harvests. They should start falling 1 a week here pretty soon.
