Neikodog's High Brix Sativas

This morning was brix and WayAhead. I had to relocate a branch on Jamaican 1, it smells just like our Jamaica trip lol. That's the 1st thing to pop in my head when I smelled it. The weed these seeds came from had a very unique smell and I can't describe it any different. It brings back great memories though, I'm getting excited for this one. Have a great day gang.

it's going to be interesting to see how they turnout and then the smoking quality i no it's going to be good but good enough to keep around,also have you ever grown any gorilla glue just wondering if you have could you post a couple pics i would like to compare to one that i grew!

NO, it won't ...Ziggs is correct. The hot, bright Jamaican sun and our HB soil will make the terps completely different than what we smoked down on the island. I'm really anxious to hear your smoke report Neiko! Should be very interesting , for sure! cheers eh!
 
I'm doing some "activities" in my garden today too. Time to stage a few, transplant a few and bubble up some GE for the herd. Gonna start spraying CS on one of these OG's too though I'm finding myself a bit indecisive as to which one to pick to reverse. All the plants are looking SO good it's hard to pick one to ruin...lol

I do have a gorilla glue. It is a clone that I received from the manager at my grow store. He wanted a clementine so we traded. It's still really small, only about 4 nodes. I'll definitely journal it. Have you seen the pics of Doc's GG? It's amazing looking.

From ACE I really liked the Snow Moon, Malawi and Panama anything. Hybrids, 707 Truthband and Amherst Sour Diesel from HSO, Clementine from Crockett Family Farms, Purple Sherb from In House Genetics and Dr. Grinspoon from Barney's Farm.

I really liked the Tikal from ACE too but that just goes too long even for me. I took the last one at 119 days and it could of gone longer. I had the Haze phenotype. I know the strawberry/peach phenos finish in like 11-13 weeks but I never seen to get one of those. I will do that again someday or order their new fem version based on those phenos.

Barney's discontinued Dr G though so you'll have to find it from some obscure seed vendor that still has it in stock. I saw the Durban talk on your thread and I really want a good Durban. I bought Dutch Passions version but I'm 0-2 on those seeds. I might try Cannabiogen's or Seeds of Africa's version someday but I really do love a good Durban.

I have smoked some really awesome Durban Poison before and know an old timer that used to mainly grow that and Blueberry from Dutch Passion. He loved both strains. I grew one seed of each out and both were mediocre at best. I am not sure if I just got a bad pheno of each or if DP's stock just is not what it used to be. I had gotten a clone of Blueberry from a friend of a friend before and that was meh as well. I think your best bet of running a good example of the Durban is to find someone with a good cut of it. You may get lucky running it from seed but I would not hold my breath. You are probably better off with cannabiogen's or SOA's as you mentioned.
 
thanks nis that sour grape looks like it could really be something the bud pics are beautiful the glue looks very similar to the one i grew but with more frost i have couple more going i want to see what i can do with them thanks again!
 
I just saw that Tropical Seed Co released 70s Durban Poison in limited version, but it's out of stock already.

I went to the Midwest cup to attempt to find Clementine. I instead bought a strain from a local grower called badass grapefruit. I am heading towards my plan of finally starting a seed stock, but I'll be going blind. This is fun progress tho!

From Neiko's post I agree on Panama and Malawi, especially Malawi. Every time I hear about it, it's great. :thumb:

And it's too bad about DrG - I still have some and it's beautiful - mixed colors, great taste, refined high - definitely a top grade strain, far superior to the earlier batches.

But Malawi has been getting very good reviews.
