Neikodog's High Brix Sativas

Gotcha Neiko, guess i screwed that up, i was looking at the scraggly one thinking that was the one Conrad was referring to, FFS's.:lot-o-toke:
Ya , you got a nice set up there bud. Having more than one small space sure has it's advantages. If i could keep all the smoke i grow , my freezer couldn't hold it all,..but,...but...you know....:tokin:
Anyhow , got more hockey to watch again tonight,...love this 'first round', hockey on every night!
Cheers Neiko, have a great night bud!:high-five:

Just finished up transplanting some veg plants, doing some pruning and recharging. I snapped a couple pics of my Amnesia, Critical Mass and the bubba hash while I was in there. These are on day 23 of flower and are 72 hours post CAT drench 1.

New drenches?

Evenin Noob, Neiko, yes , new Drenches bud. Doc has been using them for a while now , trying to make it easier for us to grow all the different "Frankenstrains" we all love to grow. Landrace strains however will like the old Drenches better, without the added Sulfur and Mg.
Anyhow , have a great night you guys,..gotta get back to watchin hockey...:tokin:

Yep. One day it dawned on me.....everyone is growing crazy genetics. They almost always need extra attention, mag, lots of NH3, and even potassium at times. The OG drench just never quite worked out right. I may discontinue it in a year or so.

The new drenches add magnesium in a 7:1 ratio with calcium....much higher than before. There's no sulfur in GE, but Transplant has lots of it. I think you're going to see improvement across the board....but the single landrace I'm running isn't digging it with the high doses.

I got an update today. This will probably be the last update on Congo. She is close, 10 weeks will be Tuesday, I'll take her next weekend. This plant has been a pleasure to grow and will be around for a while. Panama Haze is getting nice and plump and Malawi is slowly adding weight and resin. It should be a fun summer!

The next round, not strictly sativa but still really nice. They are loving the new drenches. They are 48 hours post CAT 2.

Man, I just LOVE real sativas. I love the terps, the buzz, the flavor!

Me too Doc! They are sure worth the wait! Thanks for the visit!

I lurk about the place whenever I see there's a post. All these frankenstrains and indica dominant hybrids are all well and good, but those elegant sativas are what I consider beautiful. Only a true cannabis connoisseur grows them....their commercial value is lower and their "bag appeal" is only appealing to those in the know.....like me.

I still keep a pheno of Colombian around....one plant for personal use. I've got to have something pure! Not even Lemon Paki fills that demand.

Which one do you like best?

This is the 1st run of panama x old timers haze, malawi I've had before but not this "killer malawi" phenotype. My favorite that I have done is Dr. Grinspoon and Tikal. I accidently broke a branch of the Congo about a week and a half ago. We sampled it last week. That test was so promising I killed my tikal clone. That tasted like candy flowers and the buzz caught me off guard on how potent it was. Just fantastic, I was tempted to take it today but I just gotta be patient! The really special ones will hang around and they have a way of finding people who truly appreciate them!

So true! I love smoking all kinds of weed....duh. But if given a choice, I'll choose the landrace sativas over anything else, every time. I wish we could get the public to catch on! It's like we're playing the blues for handouts on the street of St. Louis or New Orleans in the 1940s. Those guys created rock n roll....Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones....but only the true music lovers even know those guys' names!

That's how these Sativas are to me.....a treasure.

Beautiful plants Neiko. I desperately need to put another tray in my flower area as I want to have a space for the longer-flowering varietals too. The problem I have now is my tray typically runs 8-9 weeks and if I veg most of my plants that long they take up all the space and I STILL have to toss a few.

I can't wait to hear how the end-product is on that congo.
