Smoke Report:
Clementine, grown in High Brix soil by a veteran HB grower.......
1. Bag Appeal. It's a bit on the dense side for what many would consider a Sativa, probably due to it's Lemon Skunk lineage and the way it was grown. Buds are green, with red hairs and profuse resin formation. I'd put the bag appeal at about an 8/10.....10 being the stickiest, most resinous bud I've ever seen in my life.
2. Aroma, bouquet: Opening the baggie, which is kept inside a mason jar at 62% rH. A moderately strong, definitely tangerine/clementine aroma is present almost immediately. If you gently squeeze or scuff a bud, the aroma strengthens a great deal, filling the room. Grinding up a sample is tantamount to using a generous amount of room freshener with Clementine scent. 10/10
3. Smoke taste: I smoked it on 3 occasions, two times out of a pristine piece and once out of a "very" clean piece. Room temp water. This product is as smooth as anything I've ever grown or harvested. It's a true pleasure to feel the smoke in the mouth, very easy on the lungs and no sore throat at all. I did cough on very large hits, but normal sized hits were quite civilized. There's a faint Clementine flavor and the overall taste is just above the "flavored steam" that High Brix cannabis is known for. There's also a bit of the sweet bakery smells that many of us recognize. 9/10.
4. Effect: A very warm, slightly upbeat effect. Not terribly strong, definitely not weak! I'd like to smoke this weed on a long drive, hike, horseback ride, or just during the day or in the early evening. The effect was very nice, but I'm used to really powerful and strong weed. 8/10
5. Overall opinion: I'd put this strain in my rotation today if I could get these same buds I've enjoyed no problem. It's that good!
