N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

The dispensary is great for convenience and variety too, but yeah... those prices are insane, especially compared to homegrown.
I don’t know how some people only rely on the dispensary for their smoke, you’d go broke! Growing definitely isn’t for everyone but I love it, the end result is sooo worth it and so much fun getting there.

Hey Everyone, got a quick update tonight so let’s get into it!

Everyone is trucking along nicely, I’ve continued to turn up the intensity on the 135 watt Veg light every other day and so far so good! They have all graduated to their week 2 feed schedule of 6 ml Sensi Grow and 6 ml B 52 and Voodoo Juice and no complaints from the ladies so all is good.

Gz #1 is a happy lady and is putting on some nice growth on her 4 remaining growth tips after the start of the quad, they are about an inch and a half long so maybe a week and I can start tying her down.

I’ve been quite happy with Skunk #1, she has pushed out her 5th node and is looking quite strong. I’m probably going to transplant her this weekend and once she gets settled in she will get the quad treatment as well.

Cheese is trucking along just a bit slower then her sister Skunk #1. She is on her 4th node but seems healthy overall but just a tad bit more finicky then her sister, will probably wait another week before she gets transplanted.

Gorilla Zkittles #3 has kinda turned it on over the last little while, she grew out of her funky growth at the start and is catching up with the rest of her sisters! She is on about a 2 day turnaround to dry after a watering so an up pot is in her nest future!

I’ll end things with a cute craft my 8 year old daughter made for me ,I thought you guys would get a kick out of.

When I got home from work on the weekend she had made me a meltbead craft of what she said was my favourite thing...

She calls them Daddy’s plants lol. She said “Dad why do you grow those plants? They don’t have pretty flowers and you don’t eat anything from them” lol I just quickly changed the subject

I am so happy that Canadian children will learn the real deal about this beautiful plant and not all the fake government fear propaganda that we were fed for the last 80 years !

Daddy plants/Quadding/Tie Downs

3 great tastes that taste great together.

You know The Baron approves of all that!

Omg that is friggin adorable!
I thought it was the cutest thing ever  She is such a sweet girl and always so thoughtful. Makes her Dad proud:love:

I’m glad my kids get to grow up in a society that accepts cannabis as a medicine that can have real life changing benefits. Not having to hide it away from everyone is great but we still have a long way to go with the stigma that people generally have about it.

Thanks Baron! The tying and quadding will be underway again soon, checked on the ladies in the smaller pots when I got home and they were dry after a watering last night! Definitely gonna need to up pot some of Daddy’s Plants!

That's so amazing, and no reason you can't tell her that plants can be fun to grow for all sorts of reasons! I still have a couple of fusebead hearts (no where near as cool as yours) on my monitor stand at work and my kids are now 18 and 22. :)

Oh yeah, the plants are looking fat-leaved and happy. Nicely done N!
Thanks so much Shed! Ya she kinda caught me off guard with the questions, couldn’t think of an answer fast enough lol I may steal your suggestion next time lol. I try not to have her around it too much even though it’s legal here I don’t want her telling her friends and teachers about the plants Daddy is growing in the garage lol. I love all the crafts my kids make ,I don’t have the heart to throw much of it out so I could probably fill a small apartment with it all!!

I’m quite happy with the plants so far and like I was telling Baron I don’t think I’ll make it to the weekend before I transplant them in fact I grabbed a couple more 1 gal pots on my way home from work!

Couple of quick pics from tonight.

All the girls in the 4 inch pots got transplanted tonight. Sorry no root pics but they were ready.

Gz #1 got her limbs tied down tonight as well. The lower branches were a fair bit longer then the top ones so did my best to keep them even while not pulling to hard on the top branches. Gonna have another look on @Dutchman1990 quad tutorial to see what to do next.

Thanks Shed, The roots were nice just didn’t have my phone with me lol.

And I need to start writing in silver on the blue tape...the black sharpie is really hard to read.
Just what I had on hand... but now that you mentioned it they are easier to read in pics! Don’t kill me for only having 2 plants labeled

I think I see a drawing of a tent chicken or tent horse behind the ventilation flap. If so, it will work much better inside the tent.

Good eye Bvb! Your right that is a picture of a horse, think it’s a replica of a Picasso painting we had on the wall.

The picture won’t fit in the tent but I think I came up with a good alternative for a tent mascot...

It’s a Barbie Tea Party!!!
They are good tent mates but they keep complaining about the humidity wreaking havoc on their hair!

Hey Everyone, got a quick Valentines Day update

Skunk # 1 and Cheese were ready to get the quadline training underway today, so I figured what better way to show them some Valentines love then to chop their limbs off!

Cheese got topped just above her 4th node and had nodes 1and 2 removed, leaving her with only nodes 3 and 4.

Skunk #1 got the same treatment, topped above the 4th node and nodes 1 and 2 were removed.

Gz #3 is a bit of a different girl. The branches growing out of her nodes are alternating rather then being straight across from each other like every other plant I’ve ever grown at this stage in their life.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to do with her because of her growth pattern so decided just to top her above the 4th node and will see how she reacts.

To finish off it’s a quick pic if Gz #1

She has taken well to the quadline training so far! I pulled her 4 mains down a bit more and did some selective defoliation to open up the growth tips in the centre of the plant that were being covered, I only removed about half a dozen leaves and it was just the perfect amount!

Nice V-day present! I haven't seen a seed plant get alternating nodes that early (which usually indicates sexual maturity), but there's no reason you can't quad the Gz3 if you wanted to. It won't look as neatly symmetrical, but by the time you flip it will be hard to tell the difference.
Thanks Shed! Gz #3 was a strange one from the start. She actually had alternating nodes quite early in her life it just wasn’t as noticeable as it is now. I noticed that one node would be longer then the other and at first I thought made she had topped herself like I’ve seen other plants on 420 do. I think I will give her the quadline treatment like you said you will hardly be able to tell by the time she is ready to be flipped.
