N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Had two of those tonight. I'm fussy about hot dogs. Can't have too much juice, has to be all beef, and the skins can't be tough. I love weiners.
You are a weiner.

I saw this and couldn’t help myself ..

I better not let Mrs. N see this, don’t want to ruin my Valentines surprise.
LMAO! Let me know how that goes!

Thanks for reminding me that it's Valentine's Day soon.

I thought sausage was traditional on Valentine's Day. You know, bouquet of flowers with a sausage hidden in the middle. No one else does that?

With all these great Valentines Day ideas floating around Mrs. N is sure to have the best Valentines Day Ever...Just have to stock up on weiners and sausages.

Hey Everyone

Well it’s official, I’ve started my first attempt at a quadline!

Gz#1 was transplanted on Saturday night and I gave her the week to get established in her new home. Yesterday I noticed she had some roots poking out of the drain holes of the 1 gallon.

This morning when I checked on her the pot was light and she was ready for her first watering since the transplant. I mixed up a week 2 feeding which was 6 ml of Sensi Grow A+B and 6 ml each of B 52 and Voodoo Juice. Watered her and head off to work. After the kiddos were in bed it was time to break out the snips!

Before

I started by topping her just above the 4th node making sure to leave a bit of stem above the topping point for some extra strength when the bending and tying starts. After that I removed nodes 1 and 2 and this is the end result, Now she will focus all of her energy on the remaining nodes

Now we just wait for her to recover and get big enough to get the remaining growth tips to the outside of the pot creating an x.

Not much else going on with the other girls in the tent so a few pics to finish off this update.

The Fam.

I hope you like the Cheese. I keep saying it but I really need to do another soon. I saw that Barney's was going to release one but I don't think it's available yet.

I have some bad news regarding that Barney's Peyote Critical seed. It popped but then died from what looks like damping off. It has happened to 3 seeds recently so something is up.

Hey Prof, truth be told I don’t think I’ve ever smoked a Cheese strain before. Hopefully I’ll like it we will find out in a few months lol. Northern Hydro is growing a Barney’s Triple Cheese, that’s the only Barney’s cheese strain I’ve ever seen should be a good one Barney’s always seems to have quality strains.

Too bad about the seeds Prof, I’ve had no luck with my own Pc. The last one I planted directly in the soil never made it so I just moved on with what I had.

Cheese isn't as bad as some people make it out to be in my opinion and as with most strains there is a bit of variation in flavour. Some are pungent, musky and savory and others have a more fruity, Skunk angle.
Barney's have had the Triple Cheese and a very nice Blue Cheese for several years but apparently have just or are just to release a UK Cheese. I received an email about it but can't actually find it for sale. There may be some more info on their site about it by now.

It's a shame about the PC but never mind. I still have some Barney's Critical Kush regs and a Wedding Cake fem to run. Dispite not having the Barney's thread anymore I still want to run some of their goods every now and then as they are a sponsor and were very generous to me with their seeds.

They’re all looking lovely N! I think you’ll really like the quad, I’m going back to it as soon as I start some new seeds.

Cheese is on my ‘to grow’ list too and I actually have some seeds! My FIL brought some over once and I was surprised at how much I liked it. It became part of the regular rotation at the dispensary after that. It’s been a long time, but I remember it being pretty relaxing and stony.

I looked around on Barney’s site and didn’t see a Uk Cheese, it’s probably coming out any day now, maybe a certain Professor will pick some up so we can see what that Uk Cheese can do!
I hope I get a Cheese with a more fruity skunk smell and taste like you described that sounds quite good. I’m not noticing much of a smell on her now, all I can smell is her stinky sister Gz #1
Nice start to the quad N (and solid root growth. :thumb:

The babies are growing rather nicely too!
Thanks Shed, I was surprised by the quick root growth I think I definitely have a keeper on my hands. I want to try cloning her when she gets a bit bigger so I’m not messing around with seeds on the next run.
The start of the quad went quite well, I expected her to look kinda rough when I check on her the next morning but she was happy as could be be!

The babies are doing well they are on their 4th node now, getting close to topping time for them soon.

Hey Hh, thanks so much. I’m really looking forward to how this quad will work out, I’ve been checking out Dutch’s tutorial and I think I have a good handle on the next steps just gotta wait for her to get those arms a bit longer.
We’ve been taking advantage of the dispensary here more recently because I’m pretty much out of all the stuff I grew, maybe I should grab a Cheese next time I’m there just to have a taste. Not a big fan of the cost of the dispensary here $35 an 8th but I do like the convenience.
