N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

It does look like a good one, I think some phenos will push out purple buds and is supposed to be an easy strain to grow.
Well if this Critical Kush doesn't pop then I will give the Peyote Critical a go. Still waiting on the Kush.
Cheese and Skunk #1 have arrived!

Checked Pc this morning no tap root yet, hopefully after work today.
Come on PC!!

:yahoo: for the sproutlings and :cheer: for the PC! I grew a big one a couple of years ago and it's still a bedtime hit at my house. The leaves turned a lovely purple shortly before harvest.
Thanks Shed! The PC you grew was a real beauty! Love the colour of the buds, mine on the other hand... Meh. Checked it this morning and the shell has cracked open but no tap root to speak of, it’s been 48 hours since I put it in the paper towel so I think it’s another dud.

Congrats ! I cant Wait to go check mine now! I ‘ think’ one might make it * fingers crossed *
Thanks Northern, I got my fingers crossed for you. PC is not going to make it I think so I’m gonna soak another seed this morning (not PC)

Bury that sucker, @N420! Tap root or not, don't give up on her yet. :Rasta:

What GDB said! I plant mine as soon as they crack, never used paper towels.

I sprout in a shoebox I keep at 80ºF.
Thanks Shed gonna give it a go. Thinking I might just plant it and put it in the tent it’s about 78 in their. Or do you think under a dome and heat mat outside of the tent is a better approach?

78º air temps sounds fine! I don't use a dome on my peat pucks but I do keep them damp but not wet until the sprout breaks the surface.
Ok sounds great! Think I’ll just pre moisten the Pro Mix and drop the seed in and stick it in the tent!

You got it Gdb I’ll bury her when I get home. Solo on a heat mat under a dome right?
Sure thing. You've got nothing to lose by trying! :Rasta:

Both of my cheese babies are trying to grow but I’ve been fiddling with them too much !
patience - is still a virtue I’m still working on ;)

Happy Friday everyone!!

Let’s do a quick look around the tent...

Planted PC tonight! Watered the pot until I
got a bit of run off just to make sure it was moist all the way down, then just plunked her in. I also planted a Bruce Banger seed at the same time, in all the planting excitement I planted the Bruce Banger earlier then I should have it had only soaked for 12 hours....oh well just gonna go with it.

Gorilla Zkittles #1 is still trucking along and looking quite good I think. She’s gonna need a transplant soon as she is going through the water in her pot in a couple of days, it will give me the opportunity to bury her stem a bit as she is a bit stretched from not having the light close enough when she first broke the surface.

The mutant ( Gorilla Zkittles #2)
is still mutated lol. She is putting on growth but it’s slow, I’ll keep her around until something better comes along

The slow poke ( Gorilla Zkittles #3 ) is still slow lol. Again she stays until I have something better.

And finally the 2 babies! Not much to say about them, look happy no issues, little bit stretched that’s about it.

Looking good N! I'd give that GZ#1 more time before transplant. From the size I doubt you could get the rootball out whole for at least a week. If it's dry every day, slide the rootball out and have a look.
Thanks Shed! I’ll try sliding the GZ #1 out the next time she is dry and have a look at the roots. Was just wanting to plant her in a 1 gal just so I could bury her stem a bit more she’s a bit top heavy and is kinda flopping. I did add a paper clip stake to her pot to hold her up, it’s working pretty good.
