Good luck to both of you. Hope they pop!Great news Northern! Hopefully we both have some little one’s break the surface soon!
Thanks Gdb! I’ve got a good feeling about these latest seeds!Good luck to both of you. Hope they pop!
I might have to I had a shit day and might have drown mine ..going to wait another 24 before I dig them up to see what up ...You guys still popping beans?
Ya Prof, I’ve never had so many issues getting a good start. I started 5 Gz seeds and only one of them actually turned into a decent plant the others didn’t pop and the one’s that did we’re mutated. Tried popping 2 Peyote Critcals one popped then died off and the second one didn’t pop at all, I have one last one soaking now so hopefully it turns out. The Cheese and the Skunk seeds are looking good though. You guys still popping beans?
You’ll get it Northern! We are in the same boat, I think our luck is about to turnI might have to I had a shit day and might have drown mine ..going to wait another 24 before I dig them up to see what up ...
Hang in there, gents! I was in germination hell about a month ago. It will pass. (I found that I had a lot more successes when I started skipping the paper towel. Just soak the seed for 24 hours or so and then bury it, tap root or not. It seems to work most of the time!)You’ll get it Northern! We are in the same boat, I think our luck is about to turn
Thanks Gdb! All my issues have seem to come from the paper towel this time, it’s always been my go too but it may be time to switch it up. If the Peyote I have soaking doesn’t get her act together quickly in the paper towel she is getting a dirt nap!Hang in there, gents! I was in germination hell about a month ago. It will pass. Sounds good, N420. BWT, I don't know if you have a heat mat for your seedlings, but they seem to really help as well. I put the cups on the mat when the seeds are soaking to keep the water warm. At the same time, I place the prepped (filled with moist soil) solos on the mat in order to warm up the soil to receive the seeds. Then keep the solos on the mat with humidity domes until the babies arise. Good luck! Thanks Gdb! It's easily done. Last year I had a particularly bad year for germination. I ended up getting some root plugs which has helped massively.I might have to I had a shit day and might have drown mine ..going to wait another 24 before I dig them up to see what up ...
Sounds like bad luck to me. Possibly a little over-watering maybe. I like what GDB suggested with the heat mat. I bet one of those things could have saved a few of my seedlings in the past.Ya Prof, I’ve never had so many issues getting a good start. You remember how long ago you got those?Tried popping 2 Peyote Critcals one popped then died off and the second one didn’t pop at all
Thanks a lot Gdb! That’s great advice, I do have a heat mat think I’ll try that next time I like the idea of having the soil nice and warm and pre soaked for the seeds and eliminating the paper towel will be one less area for possible screw ups.Sounds good, N420. Ya I think just a bit of bad luck possibly. I have used the Rapid Rooters when I was growing Dwc but still put them in paper towel before going into the rooter but once in the rooter they did well because they are the perfect balance between keeping them moist and not to wet. I do really think adding the heat may will probably help massively and will be using it from now on.It's easily done. Last year I had a particularly bad year for germination. I've just sunk a Barney's Farm Critical Kush for the family which should be arriving any day now.
Hey Vg, I can’t exactly remember when I got them but if I had to guess probably 2 years ago. They were freebies from an order, it had crossed my mind they just might not be viable because who knows how old they actually are. Would love to have got them from Barney’s directly but they won’t ship to Canada. You remember how long ago you got those?
I'm planning my next grow and the PC was a possibility.
Is that the Barney's PC? I have one of those too but went with the CK as I've grown lots of them before so I know roughly what to expect.Critical Kush does look like a good strain that’s why I’m really hoping this Peyote Critical seed works out.
It sure is Prof, I’m guessing you haven’t grown the Barney’s PC yet?Is that the Barney's PC? I have one of those too but went with the CK as I've grown lots of them before so I know roughly what to expect.
Hey @GoogleGenie to my journal make yourself at home!Good luck with the germination @N420 Looking forward to seeing how they turn out
That's about when I got mine.if I had to guess probably 2 years ago
Not yet no. I'm sure it won't be long before I do though. It sure is Prof, I’m guessing you haven’t grown the Barney’s PC yet?
I’m sure we both got them during a promo from the Seed distributor who shall not be named... Got my hand slapped. That's about when I got mine.
