My new grow space

Just wait with all these hurricanes that plywood will triple in 3 months
I don't think we get affected by lumber pricing the way you do in the states, Lumber is very competitive here although still very expensive.

Wow, you're going all out there. I haven't seen ANY of those products around here.
The fish fertilizer is where I pay homage to my East coast friends....lol. I gotta tell you that it smells like I imagined it would.....fkn sludge in the bottle lmao......thought I got scammed lol.

Yeah, no kidding. The first time I used it I thought my cat would dig up my plants and the dog would piss on them. It does seem to be a good fert though; lots of nice organics in it. And fish has been used since time immemorial anyway, so what the hell. But I'm sure that if you use some of those dead fish you mentioned, I'd bet on even better stuff.

Honestly I thought about just burying two or three dead fish in the backyard and then digging up the soil next spring, just don't have the time for such an experiment this season. Maybe next fall when it comes to the Chinook run...... I do have to say that I love the no burn aspect of the fish fertilizer.

One of my good friends brought up temperatures in the new space yesterday, explained it could be an issue when lights are off. I was making concessions for an oil filled heater that turned on with the timer just before lights out (as my friend Shopgrow does) in order to combat this situation. I also came across the idea of just running autos in 7-10 gallon pots with 24 hours of light. .....sounds good too! I've got auto seeds to be used up too......Hmmmmm!

Haven't popped in for a while Guy. The back yard reno looks sweet.
Wait til tomorrow's update brother....got big plans for my Sunday....well someone does lol. We went and bought all of the metal roofing today. All 600 sq ft for under $500. Saved over $1500 from new, considering I'll never see it again.

I'm going that way this Saturday to buy my roofing materials. What info do you presently have? I've put a lot of research into my base soil, so i want to ensure its perfect. Black swallow is where I'd like to visit.....Theirs a reason they chose Brantford and it took them 3 years to Source all of their amendments in bulk.

Where are you again Peeece? Let's go!

Sorry... been a crazy ass week! I'm heading to Barrie Wednesday I think... lll get some info and send it to you... if it's promising we'll meet half way grab some beer and share some notes! I'm just west of Barrie

Sounds like a plan, I'm down with that. We were about 20kms S of Shatner for our roofing metal today. .....stay tuned, I might actually get a full day of building in tomorrow!

Today's update. Closest wall is up, and the back wall too. Keep in mind that this is the social area between the two sheds (well, one shed and one "workshop"), lol. I've put up a temporary beam for my girl to see about the size. More tomorrow......

Man, that's going to be some place when it's done.
I can't wait lol. The centre social space between the two enclosed areas is 24x12, the workshop is 12x10,my grow area is 6x12, and the storage section in the far side is 6x16. I've planned it out so I can move crap from the existing shed in time to be building the closest side. All the electrical and plumbing is buried and ready underneath the shed waiting. .

Looking awesome! Keep up the good work. sub'd!!
Thank you sir.....welcome! Trying for the roof rafters tomorrow......trying, lol.....theyre over 16' so they all have to be made.

I just built out a 5'X8' space inside an unfinished garage, and it seemed like so much work. You have an awesome project ahead of you, I'm excited to follow something that mine cowers in comparison to. Way to go Guy!
