My new grow space

Just wiring away in the grow room. Nothing really exciting to post pics of....

Ok I tell a lie, here you go lol. Here is the rubber coated 12/3 BX that I ran from the house. This is where it eliminates into my sub panel.

And my wires as they eliminate at the panel too.

Looking good Guy. All I have are little spikes of bud growing.

Gotta go back to work. Vaccinating again.
Fuck, no time to sit down for either of us lol. Just when I think Ive got a second and I remember my dwindling supply of mason jar goodness......hence up I get lol. Take it easy on yourself brother, we'll talk later.

I can't wait to get into my new space so that I can throw these two gallon pots in the garbage LOL....... All the time that we put into these girls and I'm limited to my pot sizes.....sheeesh!

Yeah I am looking forward to moving up to 10 gallon pots on my next grow. I am in 5 gallon pots and I am feeling like I am holding myself back by not going bigger.

Absolutely my friend, I had a buddy that told me once you go 5 gallons and up watch out..... You might need to improve your grow space..... Hence the addition LMAO. Honestly Van, I'm thinking that's one of the biggest reasons that my plants stay as small as they do. Although, they are very manageable LOL..... I'm not doing this for ease.

Hey you're pretty quiet about your light, what are you using in your 4 X 4? You can p.m. me if you need to.

Right on Guy. Piece of equipment down... got a bit of a wait.
My favourite, broken equipment on a Monday morning LOL.

I have a Perfect Sun Dwarf Star (pulls about 230 watts from wall) on half the tent and I have a Viparspectra 600 (pulls about 275 from the wall) on the other half. They are both solid lights, about the same price, and both produce well. I am saving up for a top shelf light right now. I want the Spydr Fluence.....the dude from the grow store has two of them in his 4x8 and he pull over 1.5 grams per watt on just about every grow. The last grow, he got 4 lbs dried from 8 plants under the two lights. Its pricey though.....at about 1500 US dollars for the light. The foot print is about perfect for my tent....complete coverage.

Oh hell yeah! That light is dead sexy. I'd rate it a 10 for looks alone! It's just too bad they are so proud of it. $$$

Yeah they love it....but I know I am in this for the long haul so it will be an investment that will be worth it. It grows some monsters. And amazingly enough you can have it as low as 6-8 inches above the canopy (though I am still skeptical about that....but its what the manufacturer states so it could be true).

Does your new building have to be inspected? I noticed that the wiring at the outlets wasn't secured to the studs. ISTR that they have to be stapled within 12" of the j-box. Maybe different in Canada.

edit: I know this guy who knows this guy who insulated and rocked without an inspection. The electrical inspector made him rip everything back off. Ouch.

hey rider, how do you like the LED strips? I ask because I am not happy with my current coverage around the front and back of the tent. I am looking at adding a little something to improve my front and rear coverage. Not looking for a ton of watts as I am saving for the Spydr Fluence but I want a little better coverage until I get there.

Pretty much everything was stapled and looped before I covered. No inspection but I'm doing it right..everything will be 6mil vapour barriered as well before the drywall goes in.

Very happy with the strips! And if I'm being honest I'd go Samsung F-Gen3 strips even if the SPYDRx+ was half the cost because the strips cost half that for a similar build and perform just as well. My system is overkill for sure, but I'm still in it for less than one SPYDRx+. At full output with all four Samsung strip builds I can hit 2600W in my big tent.

Of course I don't because that would be cruel and unusual. :cheesygrinsmiley:

What sort of stuff would I need to look at getting for adding two strips, about 40" or so in the front and back? Is there framing or would I need to do that?
