I don't use the email option for posts, so I can't really explain what you're having the trouble with. The only thing I can suggest is to check your settings to be sure you have it set to what you want for each subscription or check all of them in the box at the top. "Daily, Instant, weekly, etc." like Peejay or someone else was telling you a while back.

The easiest way to see new posts is to just keep your subscribed threads page up and hit refresh when you want to check. The thread with the new posts will be bolded with the name of of the most current member posting to it. It won't show you any before that, you would have to go to the thread.

That's all I got....

I had to edit my original post on the subscriptions.
You don't see the first few lines of the current post when you mouse over the page number, you only see the first post of the actual journal. A few lines of it....

Thanks, It's no big deal, I'll just wait for my email notifications to come and then click the link and go to the page. I don't remember who said it but I'm pretty sure I was told that they just hit refresh while on my journal and it would show any new posts. That doesn't work for me, but the email notifications do, So I'm fine. Sorry to bug you about that. I'm just a little confused but fine as long as the email notifications get to me. No need for a reply
 
This could be a current glitch in the system my friend.

I just remembered that yesterday I was having an issue with the virtual couch thread, my subscription kept showing a new post by a member, but I checked it several times over the course of an hour and never saw a post by him. It finally showed up after I checked a few hours later.
So, it may not be your settings at all. Just a glitch. If it continues I'll probably post a help thread to let them know. Today it seems fine for me.

I used a tie wrap to put it back tight against the stalk. I'm hoping it will regrow together since it didn't come off, just split about halfway thru.

Thanks Canna, I just didn't understand why it was doing that and will try again. I did try what you suggested about waiting on my subscribed to threads page, But no one posted anything while I was on and then I had to run my wife to the store for groceries. Thank you for letting me know about your glitch, I know it's not just my settings then most likely.

BTW, Jordan has been transplanted now into a big pot, so I'm hoping to see her grow more quickly because she seemed too cramped for the 2 liter pop bottle, PJ wants to send her into flower sometime in the next month or two if I remember correctly, He may have said sooner, I'll have to go back to see, but I'm sure it's only if she grows as fast as the first two did. Oh well, gonna eat soon, I'll "talk" to you later!
 
Well, look at you Smokey! Breakin' branches and fixing them, transplanting plants, identifying females (we hope to verify soon).......you're just movin on with this growing thing without missing a beat.

Pretty soon we're all going to be suffering Empty Nest Syndrome because you won't need us anymore and will be all growed up and on your own.

How sad......

Very funny Sis. I will ALWAYS need you guys, Don't even joke about that! Just reading your post scared the hell out of me!!! Speaking about needing you, If I can't get a good pic of the pistols, would a pic of the flowers work? (once they get bigger than they are now I mean)

Good afternoon Doc! The branch was a fluke, When I saw that I had broken it I just figured it couldn't hurt to try putting a tie wrap around it and the new stalk to see if it would heal (It was still attached, just split about halfway down). I was just asking a quick question about cloning, I have no clue about that at all yet, I'm sure PJ will be giving me a lesson down the road about that one. And I still don't have proof they are females yet because my cam won't take a clear enough pic to see the furry hairs (I can see them, but I'm not qualified to confirm that yet). I will be trying to take a better pic of them when they get older or thru a magnifying glass when my helper has some time to give me a hand. But the only reason I am moving along like I am is good instructors! PJ, Canna and the gang should be getting the back pats, not me.

High Dennise! I was hoping that a pic of flowers when they are a bit bigger would do it since I'm having such a hard time of getting a pic of the furry hairs on my camera. I do know that when I stick my nose into a flower, it most definitely smells like weed, But it's not strong enough to smell further away yet. I am just hoping.......

I will get a pic of them as soon as I think they are big enough to use to confirm gender. I see flowers, but they are only partially blossomed (best way I know to describe it) now. In fact, here are a pic of both separately, I doubt they will show much, I just took them yesterday and we only switched to flower light schedule last week.

They are females. Just have faith. I have been growing for years,

On the branch break, one of the biggest buds I have on my Lemonista right now lives on a branch that is 3/4 broke off. Never even noticed it. Pulled her over hard one day to fill a corner of the tent with a piece of string and I must have nearly split her off the plant. Fixed her self, still hangs there on 1/4 a branch but has a big nodule around it.

Hard to kill these girls. I manage somehow though.

Doesn't hurt a bit. Those are looking awesome! I blew them up pretty good, I still can't absolutely see pistils yet.

Can you see any pistils in the flowers on top yet?

They look so healthy!

I'm like Bob, I think I see something that looks that way....but it's not there for me yet. I do agree, they look very girly. :thumb:

Thanks Doc, I really hope so! I will look and see if the pistols have grown big enough to get a pic a little later, I'm a furry hair (LOL) sore now after running out to the store.
