Have you put on a diffuser using their instructions? Photone app seems to be working great for me but you definitely need the diffuser. The numbers are comparable to what my Viparspectra light is supposed to be. Very disappointing if that’s all that your light can emit.Well this is a surprise.
I just downloaded the Photone app.
Spider Farmer says my light at 12" is 960 PPFD. But I'm showing 571 PPFD.
What's even more surprising is when I move my phone to 1" below the light it's also reading 571 PPFD like this is the max power for this light. If the Photone app is accurate, this isn't cool. Hmmm . . .
I found a way to calibrate my phone to the app in a way that gives me confidence in the readings. It's showing 971 PPFD at 12" so that's pretty cool and close to the SF chart.Have you put on a diffuser using their instructions? One last nugget.....try not to helicopter your grow. I know it's hard when you're new to this but sometimes people get into the habit of smothering their plants and do more bad than good to their plants.I'm still at the newbie stage where I have to go look at her every 15 minutes. Thanks to everyone for helping me get a foothold very much! This really is too much fun, bordering on magical.

Most of the places I worked at all had safety and cleanliness protocols you had to follow. I thought they were overkill but when the master grower explained that getting a bug or disease infestation on a few plants is no biggie and simple to treat. Now multiply that by a hundred and see what happens. Trying to control an infestation in a room with 500 plants is not easy.
You only have one plant so your fine and I'm glad you're excited but when you start getting into multiple plants try and make it a habit of not exposing the plants to outside hitchhikers like spider mites or powdery mildew spores that will get on your clothes and infect your gardens.
I try and open my tent as little as possible and only when I absolutely need to work on them. Yes, I'll open up a little corner of the flap to check on them but I try and not expose too much.

I’ve heard the stories about talking to your plants being good for them. That’s fine, but only once you have enough self control and experience to walk through without messing with them. Your plants would much rather not hear your voice and be left alone than hear your voice and have you tugging at them constantly, or messing with their roots, or shifting their diet abruptly, etc.
Had a hippy buddy that swore that his plants loved him because whenever he'd talk to them they'd go into a growth spurt. Sadly, I had to burst his bubble by reading him the science on it. It wasn't the sweet nothings he was whispering to them but the CO² he was expelling when he spoke to them!!
He would leave a radio on with classical music going. He swore it helped the plants. I agreed with him but, again, pulled out the science that said Heavy Metal and R & B are what they saw most positively effected the plants. Something about the rhythmic bass frequencies that the plants reacted to.
Mine like classic rock.Well, I wasn't going to say it . . . but I've got a sound bar with a large woofer on the floor about 8' away. When I'm sitting on the floor in front of my plant, staring at her and playing the dead it's occurred to me that she is feeling the vibrations through the floor/her roots, as well as through the vegetative matter and it occurred to me how, especially Phil's bass, all this good energy was making a difference. That's what I want to think anyway in Terrapin's World.
Any shows from '73 or 74 would suffice.Well, I wasn't going to say it . . . but I've got a sound bar with a large woofer on the floor about 8' away. Gotta love Bears Wall of Sound. I wish I could have caught some Dead shows back in '73-74 with that mighty WOS. (~);-}Any shows from '73 or 74 would suffice.
It looks like she has a similar structure to the CBD Lemon auto I grew this summer.I've never even seen a weed plant before in person in my life, and I guess different species have different traits/characteristics . . . but this plant seems tall and thin as opposed to bushy.
In her 6th week now (first week of flowering) she has about 50 flowers/budsites and is 2' tall. I am watching the flowering stretch occur with the main leader but not a stretch with the lateral branches.
I have learned from posts here in the last week I did a lot of things wrong with this grow, but im wondering if anyone has a comment about the framework of this Cookie Killer auto?

I ended up going with a staggered harvest.
It's also similar to a Blackberry auto (my first auto) that I grew just before I joined here, under the same light as you're using now.
Some plants just have that structure naturally.
That's what I did for that plant.Seeing the pictures of your plants is very helpful. Yes, very similar structure. Thanks!
I wondered about the buds not all being ready to harvest at the same time in mine. When you say "staggered harvest" does this mean like if the buds on the top half are ready but not the lower half I should basically cut the plant in half and hang that part?
That's what I did for that plant.
There was a big difference in maturity between the top and the bottom of the plant, so it was an easy decision to make.
Yes, they did.I guess now that I think about it, it would be a no brainier to do this if the lower buds aren't ready to harvest. Did the buds on the lower part of the plant finish well?
Yes, they did.
I don't have any harvest weights for that plant, but the lower buds visibly swelled and put on frost after that.
I believe taking the top buds off caused a redistribution of hormones similar to topping.
