Mother of Berries, M.O.B. Maine Strain

They look fantastic! Much fuller than my OG Kush, so the Skunk genes blessed you for sure! When do you anticipate starting flush?

I started flushing today actually. Thank you for the kind words about my plants. Skunk has always been one of my favorites. I buy from sponsor Growers Choice Seeds out of Cali.

As it relates to my screen name. I had to ditch the name since I’m finalizing some stuff within the family and any association may be perceived with a dim view but once it’s over I’ll see if I can get my name restored.

I’m germinating a bag seed “Cherry Pie” I have no idea if it will be germ. I had considered if it was mail to maybe grow and get some pollen when I find something worth pollinating because why not? We will see what happens.

I’ll be checking Trichs later today and uploading.

They look like they're nearing the end of maturing to cloudiness. I'd be confident to flush now and harvest in a weekish.

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Cherry Pie (bag) you may ask why I’m using bag seed as a free training tool that I can plan and experiment with on something that didn’t cost me anything (seed wise). I previously mentioned I wanted to start cloning and topping and all of that and this will be the plant I’m doing it all with and then I want to get back to skunks.

Must be quite an aroma around the home. Definitely, carbon filters are good for your grow.
Last few years I have been growing berry and citrus, I may opt for a tent with a filter in winter and grown some skunk weed.

If you don’t mind me asking how did you find this little corner of 420mag? Not to many passerby’s around here.

Nice looking garden you have there. Did that plant in the front left go through a reveg after getting planted outside?

Hi all,

Haven’t been around focusing on cob and experimenting in process. I chopped skunks a hair early because I’m following sweet sue who made a decision to do that and I think we can all agree she knows more than I do and if she thinks it’s wise to do it for the sake of cobbing than I have to follow suit. I did sample some of the minuscule popcorn buds. Did a speed dry (would never do with real buds) and smoked and it wasn’t bad actually had a bit of skunkiness to them I hope it becomes more prominent after a good dry/cure I don’t mean weed but skunky odor specifically, it won’t be Roadkill skunky but decent enough. A lot of my time has been spent focusing on the cob thing, watching ferment closely right now. Not terribly big cob so should only need to sit for about a week based on provided chart.

Moving on to the current grow. This is all about experimenting. My goal(s) will be cloning (thanks for all tips Yeti) and topping. I’ve been reading that the simplest form of revegetation is to produce a “group” of colas and keep the rest of the plant clean and every few months just pluck the new ones (I’ve been reading a lot of potchimps reveg stuff too and he recommends leaving stuff at bottom to do this) putting all the time into this I can read into revegging.

I also took all of the advice and parts information, printed it off as a reading and resource guide. Watching YouTube videos etc. after this experimental grow my tent size and plant pot size will be shrinking but will still do 4 or 5 plants (maybe 6) and using the above mentioned methods with colas and revegging.

As you’ve read through this you’ve noticed different topics that’s because I intend to use all the different information going forward smaller tent+new techniques and better lights.

And a greater understanding of nutrient usage...

Below are two cherry pie seeds. The first one is coming along normally and the other one seems to be experiencing sluggish formation which I believe may be a warning sign of possible male or hermie based on any stress it may have had in the embryonic stem as it was bag seed so anything is possible.

Cherry pie doesn’t seem to be making much process though it could be one of those where it does some root work before shooting up.

I tried the cobbing bit via chew and didn’t get a damn thing off of it. Will try a piece to smoke before I seal back up but seems almost like a complete waste of time and weed. I’ve double checked the steps as basic as they are and made sure that everything was it’s supposed to be. I doubt I’ll be cobbing again.

Hope all is well.

IMO, slowed growth is due to being too big of a pot. Too much media makes it more difficult to achieve both sides of the wetness spectrum. I aim to put small plants in small pots with only enough media that the roots can overtake/outgrow in a week or two. Right now, I have two foot tall clones in clear solo cups. I put the clear cup in another solid color cup to block light, but then I can check progress daily without putting the pot off. Granted, I'm in rockwool cubes, still though, it's good for the root zone to experience drenched to almost dry and if there's too much media, the roots won't drink it out.

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven’t been on so much, a lot going on. Pic of plants below. Tried “Orange Cream” yesterday (and got a seed for it) tasted really good but wasn’t awesome in the way of potency. Will grow anyway (next round) and maybe do a salad with something stronger.

Hey guys,

Hope all is well. Cherry is first and wondering if it was big enough to top? Rest are skunk Kush.
