Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

Beautiful flowers Morglie :yummy: the purple Malawi is like little frosty roses. :)

Its where the name citrus come from :).

It has 2 occurances (isomers), Citral-a which is geranial (strong lemon smell) and citral-b which is geraniol (sweet lemon aroma).

So it can get listed as either geranial and geraniol. I remember reading it (‘citral’) in a list many many moons ago but haven’t seen it mentioned again until this course I’m doing now. Most of the material is delivered by Dr Samantha Miller from Pure Analytics for the cannabinoids and terpenes sections. I’m having a ball!
Thank you. I believe this is the best I've grown this cut out yet.

In the morning I'll be cutting the last run of Malawi x PCK.

I'll also be cutting the latest run of Purple Malawi.

While I was moving them to the front of flower for the morning harvest I had the cut of Cannotonic I vegged for a year out, so I figured I'd snap a pic as well. She's really turned into a lovely toadstool shaped bush.
Peace

Wow, very nice. Is the cannatonic reeking of oranges yet?
Yes, she is. The Malawi was dominating the flower room for several weeks now, but when I had it and the Cannotonic in my veg room last night, it was the Cannotonic that was stinking things up now. I've started upping my feeding on her this round and she's loving it.
Very beautiful. Love the pics
Thanks Chief!

These are really pretty plants. The colouration, the buds and good training :)

Thank you. I love the look of the Malawi x PCK, but the flavor and buzz is kind of a poor man's version of my purple Malawi, which is why I'm dropping it.

I've been working on getting a more even canopy with my latest plants. I was growing them more naturally for a while, but they were twice the height and not much more yield in return. Plus they were more work to trim.
Hi morgs! Happy 420!
Thanks! Nasty weather day out today. I think it's a good day to fire some up and chill.
:passitleft:

I found nanners on the Kerala so I cut it today. I briefly entertained putting it outside, but it would be blowing pollen all over my other plants if it survived.
I still have the P13 x Kerala and a Purple Dawg x Kerala going, so hopefully I get to see the genetics in the mixes, even if I can't get a pure one to harvest. This one hermied at 58 days. The prior one went 113.

And so she doesn't feel left out, with the other sativas, Purple Malawi x (Zam x Pan). 7 weeks in. I'm guessing another three weeks to go.

You're really getting good at the wild sativas! Great work! That Kerala coulda been such a mess. :bravo:

It’s a crap shoot with some sativas and if you cross one of these without checking sexual stability then you might end up with hermie offspring... well it seems that’s what happened. But you have so many lines to play with that one less shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Thanks, I've been working on the wild ones. I think I'm going to try Ethiopian x Mauritius and Oldtimers next. :)
Beautiful plants, Brother! :bravo:
Absolutely gorgeous buds on that Malawi x PCK! :yummy:
Thank you, I love the coloration on her.

It's the pure Kerala that hermied on me again. The first one went 113 days after pistols showed before she started showing nanners. The crosses I'm testing out are seeds made from the first one, so I've been expecting it to be common in the offspring. That's why I haven't bothered taking clones, i just popped them for the fun of it, just to see what I get.

The Purple Dawg cross is still early in flower so who knows about that one, but the P13 is sitting pretty far along at 7 weeks and hasn't shown any indications. I'm wishing I had taken a cut at this point. If she goes full term, I'm going to try a reveg with her and then I guess we'll really see how stable she actually is. She's got another month to go at least, but it's way shorter than the 24 week+ that the Kerala parental plant was going to take.

Malawi with UD bud formation :)
