Nice reveg! Fun to see. \\How are the Purple Satellites coming?
Mine:
Mine are coming along nicely. They're drooping from just getting watered. I had to drench them due to an issue with the soil.
I have a pair of P13s to put out with them as well. This is a fast finishing strain, which could potentially do very well in my area. I figured I should start testing them outdoors.
I have a batch of 1st run soil that had the biota go dormant on me due to it getting too cold this winter. I've been using it exclusively for cracking seeds lately since the rest of my soil is 3rd run, which has a tendency to eat seeds.
All of the seeds I've cracked since I started with the Ace seeds back in February have been in this soil. I've managed to bring them all back into line with a combination of Super Drenches and transplants. One of the Mulange is looking pretty sad, but I have hopes she'll come around. She's one confirmed female. I have another I'm pretty certain is a female and another a male. The last two I can't tell yet.
I cut the F2 Purple Dawg F2 this morning and I'm toking on the Purple Dawg BX I cut a few weeks ago. It's just finishing up the drying process. Lovely spicy grape aroma out of the jar.
Oh, and I moved the Killer A5 into flower today! This may be the best canopy I've ever done without pruning the plant to death.
I'm not sold on the cut I'm revegging yet. It's just finishing up the drying process and I've been sampling it, but I don't know if I'm going to continue. The bud structure is gorgeous, but I'm not certain if the aroma and buzz are what I'm looking for.
Speaking of which, the garden got pared down a bit. I got rid of both cuts off Panama. I've been smoking on it lately and enjoy it, but not enough to maintain the cut. There are to many others to try. The Jack Herer showed as a male today, so he got cut as well.
I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with him, but I am still holding onto the male P13 cut that started alternating nodes a week earlier than the others. This is in a heavily sativa leaning strain, that finishes in 7 weeks. This male could potentially be an even faster finisher. I'm planning on popping Oldtimers and Ethiopian x Mauritius next. Pollinating them with him could really bring down the flowering time in the cross.
From the two Kerala I've tried so far, it's easily a 20+ week plant. The cross I have going with my P13 will probably be finished at the 11 week mark. I wonder what this male can do with these long flowerers.
