Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

Calcium carbonate is tricky as breakdown is very slow. Calcium nitrate and calcium citrate are the best for quick release.
I gave them a heavy dose of GE which is loaded in calcium nitrate yesterday. I'm getting ready to go check on them now and see if I can see a difference.
I dont know to be honest, maybe try it on one and see.
I'll give one a try today.
I had 3 ud beans that soaked for 3 days I no that's not a long time but I wanted to experiment so I gave them a squeeze with my hemostat and popped them open and put them in soil that was two days ago and I see something looking like its getting ready to pop up ill see how they do this is the first time ive tried it this way!
Thanks for the info. I'm going to give it a try on one and see what I get.

Growth is Calcium Nitrate, so a good strong drench of that will add available Cal. But increased microbial activity will also increase availability. So stronger drenches in general would be best.

:Namaste:

Quite right! Listen to a master.....

Calcium is not lacking in the soil, or the drenches, or the foliars. Each are loaded with calcium.

But the uptake depends on the roots so focus on that. DeStress will help, so will Snake Oil added to a couple Brix foliars per directions.

As always, the environment if most important. I'm not a fan of white, see-through pots in bloom. Roots don't like light!

Thanks Doc! I think the problem is that the roots hadn't worked their way into the new soil and they had sucked most of the nutrients out of what soil there is left in the root mass from the old pot. They seem to have livened up a bit today, without any clawing, which I was worried would happen with as heavy of dose as I gave them.

I'm still learning the heavier feeding strains as most of what I run are landrace sativas. I've got an OG based plant that seems insatiably hungry. I had to dose it with a quadruple dose of Trans, followed by a quadruple dose of GE along with a tablespoon of blood meal. I know, not the ideal solution, but it got the leaves to snap back up and the leaves are starting to turn green again. I think I'm going to have to up pot it to a 17 as well once it's done cooking to keep this plant happy.

I was watering the brood from the Kerala male and took a closer look at the Orient Express x NepJam tonight. It looks like it revegged, but this is just how dense it grows. I'm really intrigued as to what the offspring of this and the stretchy Kerala male will be like. If anything can tame that gangly strain, this will.

That is good news!
Are we hoping it is a boy or girl?
Does it matter?

I want a female preferably. I'm not certain what I would use a male on. It's looking like it might be a while before my other Durbans arrive. Maybe one of the Ultra Dawgs. It seems to make great crosses with landraces.

Sounds good,
Plus I have 10 or 12 more of those seeds.
With the chance of an extended wait for the other Durbans, I may go ahead and crack some of those beans next run.

Nice. Hopefully you get better germination rates on them.
Gotcha! A5xMulange it is. Thanks!

:passitleft:
Should be a nice combination.

My hopes exactly. In addition for me, The kaliChina has some thing I like in terms of scent. Like nothing I have ever had in a plant. So very exotic in the pck-kc. :yummy:
I picked a couple of those up last time I ordered from Ace. I need to try them out. Maybe I'll get the purple/black pheno. :rollit:

I love the Thai Chi, it's so happy. It's great for social activities and there's no paranoia or anxiety with the black one. I find the Thai x Panama very similar. I don't know if I could tell the difference if I smoked both blindfolded. They taste pretty similar and the effects are really close. The Thai x Panama is probably a little more potent than the Thai Chi but not enough to be concerned about. You'll want to train the Thai Chi or flip it after a couple weeks of veg, she's a stretcher.
