I had a mishap with my environmentals. I try and keep it to the high 60s at night but it dropped to 48 twice. The colors really started to pop after that.

The small cut off early bubba hash got cut today, along with small cuts off both strange brews I have going that were pollinated with that stocky Crockett Dawg stud I had.
I also cut the top half of one of the strange brew as well. It's at 9 weeks. I'm going to try and push the bottom half another two weeks to see if it ambers up. With the wife's help today I crammed a tomato cage over it as it was getting floppy and out of control. Now the branches are all crammed together, but it will be able to finish without branches breaking off.
Looking at the schedule, there should be a plant cut every weekend except 2 up through the next 9 weeks. Finally some variety coming up. I love the Malawi, but that's pretty much all I've had to smoke in a couple of months. From the sample smokes I've tried, the Strange Brew, Crockett Dawg, and 707 Headband all should kick ass. The Crockett Dawg I'm not going to be able to keep going regularly unfortunately. It stinks so bad, my filtering can't keep up with it. It's some seriously greasy bud.
I popped seeds of Apollo 13 and Tangie, so that I can make F2s. The Apollo is a male yet again. 3 for 3. I culled my older male and am keeping this one to pollinate my purple Malawi, and both cuts of Strange Brew. The Tangie at least looks to be a female, so I can get some F2s, along with pollinating the same Malawi and Strange Brew.
I'll post pics once they update the app. I think I saw it's supposed to get fixed this weekend.

Strange Brew is getting cut this weekend. Maybe Crockett Dawg as well. I'll have to see how the trics develope over the next couple of days. She might a reprieve till next weekend.

Very interested in that Crockett Dawg. I'd say of all the breeders I've run, Crockett has the best terpenes, In House Genetics is a close 2nd.

It's overpowering my filter. It's a strain I'm unfortunately not going to be able to grow very often because of that. That being said, it's looking and smelling amazing. I think I'm going to push it till next weekend. I'm still hardly seeing any amber. Plus, I'm curious to see how much more she'll bulk up.
I wish I could try out their Tangie. I'm now 3 for 3 on males with it. Researching Tangie is actually why I picked Crockett Dawg. I wanted to try an indica based strain of theirs as well, and it sounded pretty tasty.

I snapped pictures last weekend planning on posting them. Normally I delete them after I upload them, but still had these on my phone. It's interesting comparing them.
Strange brew. These are 6 days apart, but she looked like the first picture yesterday when I gave her a big fat drink of GE. Today I walked in to find her fallen over.
Some pictures from the flower floor.
And the beast of a carnival I have squashed into the back corner of the room. I had to crawl under two plants to water her today. She's the newest addition to the flower girls.

Wow theres some sweet freaky buds here. Those China Y are so beautiful. Where did you find that? My friend gave me 2 seeds and said these are Chinese Yucatan. He knows I like landrace and I know they came from his favorite breeder that was doing him a favor. I can't believe it's the CY but??? I hope it flowers something nice...

I took a couple of pics this evening while I was tending the girls.
Carnival has really taken off since her watering last night. I'm wondering if I shouldn't have gave her a cat instead.
My purple Malawi mother. I'm working on building her upper root zone by only watering the whole top lightly every day or so. Today I gave her a half a gallon in the base so the roots down there don't go dormant. I'm pruning her back for an even canopy and am taking my time building as solid of root system as I can on her. This cut always underperforms in bud size, but i believe it's because she doesn't grow a very good root system. So I'm going to root bound her in a 17 gallon tote, while I prune her into a nice uniform bush.
That's it for tonight. Strange brew is getting cut in there morning. I just lit up the first bowl from the top of the plant, which I harvested last weekend. The flavor still needs to develope, but it's got a great invigorating buzz.
I'm off to enjoy this buzz.

You'll be fine giving CAT next. From the looks of it that would be about when I hit mine. That Carnival is a beast of a plant. It looks like it will yield very well. I would just do CAT next watering, don't worry about giving water inbetween. If yours drinks like mine it will only be a couple days before she's ready again.
You are vegging a Malawi in a 17 gallon tote? That thing will get 20' tall. I'm sure you have a plan. I haven't had the purple one but all mine stretched about 2-3 times their size at flip. Good luck!!

Yes, she's getting big. Luckily, carnival doesn't stretch much. If she more than doubled in size she'd be in my lights.
The purple Malawi doesn't stretch much. My last one was trained for about 2 months in a 17 gallon. She was squat but covered the whole top. Probably about 40 tops and I still got less than 2 zips of tiny buds from it. It had roots saturated in the bottom half of the tote, but nothing in the top half. I'm trying to grow this one to be as beefy as possible. I'm tired of just popcorn from this cut. She's far too good of smoke for that.
