The clone I've got in veg is growing vigorously, but the mother plant didn't get a good enough root system developed in her final pot. She's got tiny little buds going. They are starting to stack though, and she has another 4 weeks to go, so who knows. While I was out of town her scent developed into orange zest. It's pretty cool. Does she normally grow really dense and chew through her lower fans? I think mine revegged so it could just been caused by that. The clone is growing much better though, so I've got a solid copy to keep her.

I'll snap a picture of her tomorrow for ya.

Yes she ate her lower leaves. I had some issues with my soil so I don't have a goid feel for how she's supposed to grow. My clone is much better than the mother. It will go into 1st run soil next time I flower it. And yes it goes from fruity to orange. It smokes really nice and mixes well.

I'm looking forward to trying her out. Is 8-9 weeks normal flower time for her? That's what I've been figuring on. She's already got pistols turning on her at 4 weeks I believe. I need to check my notes, I might be off on my timing.

The clone should do better for me as well. I'm trying to get her spaced out a bit more. I think my mother got hit a bit by mites as well. She grows so dense it's easy for them to hide in the canopy. I'm winning the battle with them, but it's always going to be a battle. I don't think I'll ever be able to fully eradicate them.

You will definitely be in the harvest window in the 8-9 week range. I'm still learning it as well but that is what the person who gave it to me said.

Thank you. I got a bud pic yesterday of her. Nice buds, but they are tiny. I'll maybe half a zip from her. Enough to test her out at least.

Yeah my yield wasn't great either, about an oz. I attributed it to soil issues I was having with it. It may need to adjust to the HB soil too. It was used to mineralized coco. There is definitely a learning curve with it. It will do until I find something better. She's a frosty one though.

It doesn't seem very vigorous, but then again, for the CBD: THC ratio, you really can't expect the ideal plant. It's a breeding tool, but I have to say, that orange zest it's giving off is awfully nice. I may have to pollinate some with my male Tangie when I flower him. That could be a sweet mix.

You have a lot of crossing on your mind, man

My Lebs were both CBD plants although I expected more THC chemotypes. If you suffer from pain or anxiety, CBD varieties can alleviate that. Well, it's definitely good to have something CBD rich on your hands. I couldn't smoke it though, most was used to infuse olive oil and it works great for me

Early stages, but yes. I've got a lot of crosses in mind. I think the first cross I start popping will be Purple Malawi x Ultra Dawg.

I'm harvesting seeds this weekend.

CBD heavy strains work pretty well smoked as well. I've tried out early bubba hash, it's supposed to be a consistent 3:1 CBD heavy ratio and it laid me out fairly well, and that was just from a miniature outdoor plant that wasn't grown very well. We'll see how it does grown well soon. I've got a little one dripping with resin and another in a 17 gallon tote that looks like it will end up the same.

That's what I use my CBD rich plants for as well....usually. I do like the cannatonic flavor so I keep some to mix with other strains. Adding CBD to any high thc strain seems to improve the effect considerably. My 2:1 CBD Jamaican will flat out KO me. That plant tastes and smells like Jamaica. I let Nate try some, he was in Jamaica with us and he just got to try that plant. He sent me a message and said man that tastes and smells like jamaica. It brought back all kinds of good memories. So I do keep a little of that on hand to smoke but mostly that is my pill maker.

Early bubba hash is really starting to show the colors on the leaves. China Yunnan is working to bring out the colors as well, but it's mostly on the undersides. Both should be getting cut next weekend or the following. Got some greasy indica bud coming. I can't wait. The smell I'm getting off the early bubba has me drooling.

I only grew Bubba Hash and she died a premature death after my fierce experiments, but I loved the smoke anyway. It's a medical grade indica, but quite spacey and very, very relaxing. I'll grow it again for sure.

I grew two tiny outdoor ones this summer. Enough to get about an 1/8th and know I liked it. The early version from what I've read is 3:1 CBD heavy, but it still sunk me into the couch none the less.

I remember your bubba hash. The little patio ledge one that got scorched. I was thinking you managed to get her to harvest. Yes, damn fine smoke. I've got the mother in a 17 gallon tote a few weeks behind. She's looking to get just as frosty. I'm thinking she's going to be a keeper.

Yeah man that Bubba Hash is one of my favorites. I smoked some that's cured for a few months and it took me to a whole other world. I have a fresh 6 pack of bubba hash fems and I just sunk a Bubba Kush x Nepal Jam yesterday. It was one of ACE's R&D strains. I figured I'd stagger the new ones. I dropped 2 Ultra Dogs along with the Bubba.

That Early Bubba looks fantastic too. Nice and frosty. I swear you could bust a window with those nuggs. Nice Job!

Ace seems to have hit their whole catalog with the purple Nepjam this year. Just like they did with Kali China last year. My seed collection is already large and getting ready to grow exponentially, but I keep eyeing the purple zamal x purple Nepjam. It sounds very intriguing.

I have that same problem. I've actually tried to order twice, ran into issues with payment, and decided it was a sign not to order more seeds.

I just upgraded my grow recently and I'm already feeling the squeeze. When I grow out batches of seeds, pheno hunting, I'm going to have to flower them in gallon buckets at the biggest.

Off to set up wash buckets. A purple Malawi is up for the cut at lights on. There's also a Crockett Dawg and 707 headband, that are tiny and seed laden, getting cut as well. All three plants should give me 20-30 seeds each. Collection is growing.....
