What part of FL you in? I left Pensacola area 7ish years ago, most liberating thing ever!!!!

My outdoor autos have started slow too...I'm holding off worries until week 2. I've never grown them but I'm assuming the roots are just filling these pots up!!!

Thanks joining blaze...really good to have you ride along. Getting REALLY excited man....football, break from heat in a couple months, and new grow with new strains. Hot damn. I'm in Northern fl. 420 says urine is good fert..I know that came outa left field, but just came to mind. Lol
Wife and I want to move one day...Canada is out...Oregon,Colorado, and cali are next on list. Lol

You remember like a decade and a half ago, when all of I10 was on crackdown for pot between Texas and Tally? Driest year of my life.
Fuzz is thick out there. Forums like this were clutch. Kept my mouth shut to people day to day....verbal diarrhea on the forums lol

Man, I don't remember that, but I wasnt into smokin for medicinal purposes back then. Docs had me on horrible script (legal) drugs from big pharmaceutical...you know...stuff like hydrocodone. Lol. Yeah, that's real safe and not addicting at all. About 2 years ago, I had surgery and the cut through layers of my chest muscle. After surgery when my pain meds had worn off, I was literally trembling uncontrollably from pain. I smoked mmj, & felt little pain. I was like.....whaaat. That tale is true bout this stuff. So smoked every time it came back, until pain was gone completely. Threw script in trash. True story!!

I put my 420 Blueberry into the sun on the day it sprouted. Full sun day one. No problem. That's the best way to grow them. If you have them indoors for the first few sets of leaves then you have to acclimate. But if you get them out right away you're good to go.

What's a smudge pot? I have a greenhouse (cheap one) but serves its purpose. Feb was my first grow. Threw them in Greenhouse with space heater fans and thermometer, and my temps & rh were spot on. Just not. O sister weather here. Lol. How much did scientific pull from that plant with such little light? I had to lug most of my plants round yard chasing sun on my first run. The plants outside didn't do much, but ones in grow tent w leds were good!! But I made so many mistakes it could have been anything that affected my yield to be low. Including transplanting. Even got seeds. Which is cool with me, cause it was Only seven, and I'm growing 5 free plants out of the deal.

Smudge pot is what they use it in cold weather to heat up the orchards. I bought one in 1978 in upstate NY and still have it in SoCal, for no reason at all! They still use them here in the orange groves:

I've been moving plants myself every night so I know what that's like. And when I go back to the beginning of this grow journal I'm amazed at how little I knew going in compared to how much I've learned. Which is still not much!

Hey Moon, forgot to mention that you should DEFINITELY do LST on these babies. Check out the difference in my untrained vs LST 420 Blueberry plants...the LST has 13 tops on it! Start 'em young as well.

Thanks shed, I'll def try. Haven't had much success with the lst at all. You did a great job dude. Looks killer. How's it smelling. These little things grew a tiny bit last night. Haven't been out there since yesterday. Gotta stop checking on them so much. This is really fun and exciting for me. I'd love to learn enough to work for a nursery somewhere. I'd live in a tent if I had to once the kids are gone. As long as it was on a southern facing mountain. Lol. A man can dream. No really, a log cabin would be phenomenal. This world and the US is so ridiculous right now, a mountain in middle of nowhere sounds great.

Finally......I was starting to get a complex broskie lol. J/k. I was going to ask you about up potting photos, and lst, & when to start. I almost started to begin lst on xmas trees and then I thought....shit, if I do that how the heck am I gonna transplant to bigger pot when necessary. They have 3 nodes now I believe. You know what.....screw this diareeha, I'm going outside.......with a roll of tp of course. Lol. Now where did I start that compost pile again? Scratches whiskers. :thumb: Sorry yall. It's been that kinda day.

Any hint of fruit. These bagseed smell as good as the first ones. I walked out the other day after a brief down pour, and I could smell those dinky plants well before I ran up on em. If I could some how get an ounce from the 4 I'd be cool. It might sustain me for half the next grow if I back the hell off it a bit. I have smoked every day now for a year and a half. Before that, I coul count on my hands how many. Don t know if my buds degraded, but I barely get high at all. Well, last night I did watch "wrecked" for the first time, & laughed till ribs hurt. Couldn't catch my breath for a minute!!:thumb:

Personally, I have no idea why this plant is called Blueberry. Maybe grown indoors or hydro it looks blue or smells like blueberries, but all I smell is dope, and it started very early - like week 3 - before even the hint of pistils.

I haven't weighed the Blue 1 (untrained) crop lately, but on Friday it was around 50 grams (1.75 oz) off a 24" plant. I'll prob weigh tonight before I jar up for the longer term cure. I'm sure Blue 2 (LST with the 13 tops) will do much better.

Go for the LST. Start young, go slow in the beginning and support the stem in the opposite direction from the pull-down, and pick a direction to train. I went with a counter clockwise circle around the outer edge of the pot. I was a first-timer and mine came out okay. I'm going to do LST on almost all my plants from now on unless I'm going to try out some new technique as a test.

Lst'd the early miss/NYCd bagseed auto & the ww femised photo. Two ish weeks from sprout. Fed ww 1ml ea of an ph per grow, micro, cal mag+, and .5 ml an pirahna into 500ml bottle water. Em/NYCd has Been only getting distilled tap water. Water temp....outside in covered porch in Florida, its 89 deg, so hope the water isn't too hot to use, cause I got shelves of it out there. Lol. here they are.
